(Takes place during Hero, from last year)

Starring: Dolos and Symph-12

It had been nearly a year after Echo, Delilah, and Myra had been taken by Erebus to an unknown location. The Bright had still not located them in the slightest, and were left clueless as to what they should do. Gate-4 had gone into hiding, to "think", Xerxes was off by himself all the time, Symph would often always have something to do. Dolos however, was truly alone.

Dolos was once a wargod, and still, not a single person in the Tower would speak to him. He longed to have a deep conversation, as he had never really had many. Before, he would have just commanded the members of his cult. He didn't like being lonely, he never had.

Sometimes, Symph would find time to spend with Dolos. She was one of the only people in the Bright that would legitimately want to have conversation with him. He would often say she "unlocked" his humanity, as he had the most of it compared to his other two brothers. He considered her a friend, but he didn't know if she did too.

Luckily, today was a day Symph sits next to Dolos on a bench he would sit at most of the day, staring at the Traveler.

"Why do you think the Traveler stays here? Why doesn't it just leave?" Dolos asks as Symph sits down.

"I don't know. I never really thought about it like that."

Awkward silence ensues for a few moments. Both of them don't make eye contact.

"Why do you sit here all day?" Symph asks.

"What else would I do?"

"Well, sense I doubt the others are alive anymore, go explore perhaps?"

"I don't want to go back into space, I have been in it long enough."

"You're scared of space?"

"A little, yes."

"I didn't know you could have true emotion, sense you are like an undead fragment of Erebus."

"I was given most of Lucas-7's humanity. Sometimes I don't like it. Being burdened with sadness and love does not really benefit me. My brothers seem to be better than me simply because they do not feel as strongly as I do."

Symph feels sorry for Dolos, even though she was a bit confused by his words.

"You act like your brothers never cared about you."

"I do not know if they do. I never got to spend time with Mazora as much as Xerxes did. Perhaps if I had been given his wisdom, I would not be such a pathetic creature."

"I don't think you're pathetic."

Dolos doesn't say anything after that. They both go back to just staring up at the Traveler.

"I'm sure one day, you'll get to have that wisdom. Maybe not anytime soon, but in another life perhaps." Symph pats his shoulder, then walks away.

When she leaves, Dolos wishes so bad that he could cry. He had never done it before, but knew exactly what it was. It's as if he was restricted from doing so. He likes Symph, it would be a shame if he saw what she would do in the future.
