As the shard Tla'auc' cool down, Brutus jumps down from a staircase, ready to fight.
"There's no fight to..fight in." Echo tells her.
"Damn...it looked like fun too." Brutus comments.
The Abomination throws Dolos up into the sky, opening its mouth to eat him. As Dolos lands, he holds its jaws open with his hands, but it's strong. He quickly jumps out, and grabs onto the tip of the spire.
"Why fight me creature?"
The Abominatjon doesn't speak, but fires large purple beams out of its eyes and mouth. Dolos jumps up and glides above them, but is barely able to hold onto the spire.
The Abomination roars at him as his leaps into the air quickly summoning his spear and throwing it at the beast, the spear of Light pushing through its black and evil body.
The Beast grabs him with it's tentacles yet again, pulling him into its mouth once again. Dolos is able to squirm out of its grasp, gliding in the air once again to fire a continuous beam of Light at the creature.
The Abomination screams in pain, whacking Dolos with it's tentacles and sending him flying off the edge, causing him to become stunned and almost lose consciousness.
The beast grabs him again, slamming him into the side of the tower over and over. His helm dented and cracked, his robes torn. His mind confused.
The Abomination throws him at the tower again, but he is able to hold on while it tries to pull him.
As Dolos struggles, he here's a scream, his name. It was her voice. He knows. It's different. She's always been different.
The Abomination screams again, a flaming hammer flies through it, flying towards Dolos. He catches it, and brings it down upon the beast's arms, burning them greatly.
Dolos glides in the air, firing another great Beam into the beast's mouth, cutting through its core like clay. The Abomination screams it's most terrible scream, before it's eyes dull, and it is reduced to nothing.
Dolos breathes heavily, and falls off the spire. He lands in the water, letting it take him. He feels...a sense of nothingness. No pain. No guilt. Nothing. Just the water on his face. The strength of the waves pushing him, forever.
But he is pulled out by Brutus. She takes him to the shore.
"Dolos?" She takes off his helm. His face not as bright. "Dolos wake up!"
Dolos' light will never fade, but he won't wake up..
Brutus takes off her helmet and holds his face in her hands. She's an Exo.
"Please open your eyes. Look at me."
After a few seconds, Dolos opens his golden eyes. He looks at Brutus's eyes. He had never seen her face. But her eyes, oh..her eyes.
"You're here!" Brutus says, almost overcome by her emotions.
"I'm here." Dolos smiles, even though he only has a bit of his real gold face.
Echo, Gate, and Kanya reach them, and Dolos quickly puts on his helm.
"Think we wouldn't see?" Echo comments.
"I'd like to keep my identity a secret. I still barely have what you would call a face."
Echo, tired as all hell, sits down on the dark sand next to Dolos. Kanya sits next to him, and Brutus next to Dolos. Gate stands nearby, saddened. The feeling of being alone slowly overcoming him.
As they rest, they watch the Dark Tower slowly fall apart, pieces of it falling into the sea, until the waves retook their land... a great evil once again diminished...but, all ends are beginnings, right?
