With a name destined to get her into trouble, Sapphire Black knew that the only way to live life was by taking risks and never looking back. Her brother, family and friends at her side were all that she needed to make it through the poor handout sh...

The arrival of December was something Sapphire always enjoyed, with her heart filling with relief that she'd be able to see her family. She missed them dearly and she knew that her brother did too, even if he didn't say so. They would be spending Christmas with the Tonks, as always, but Andromeda had already agreed to invite Remus and Nate. They'd have invited Harry but Sapphire knew he'd want to spend it with the Weasley's.
She couldn't blame him for that, they were wonderful people.
"Harry, hello," Sapphire greeted, appearing in the room fo requirement with Angelina, Katie and Alicia.
"Hey—"
Sapphire's face did not tell Harry Potter that she was particularly happy. Afterall, she'd spent all afternoon trying to find a replacement after him being banned — it wasn't the best start to the winter period before they went on break but she had no choice.
"Well, we've replaced you," Sapphire interrupted.
"Replaced me?" Harry questioned.
"You, Fred and George," Sapphire added. "We've found another seeker."
"Who?"
"Ginny."
Sapphire had expected the reaction from him, which was clearly disbelief. Sapphire actually had a lot of hope in Ginny and she knew that she would likely replace either Angelina and herself when they'd graduated.
"She's pretty good, you know? Course, nothing on you but we've got to work without you right now," Sapphire continued.
"And what about the beaters?" Harry asked.
"Alicia," Sapphire pointed to her friend. "She'd make a better Chaser, admittedly, but she'd got a strong hit. Sadly, Jack Sloper is the next best thing. A bunch of idiots turned up."
She gave a sigh before people began to pool into the room. It was the last meeting before Christmas and the room had been decorated by Dobby the house elf. Sapphire thought it was rather sweet, though she didn't know the house elf all that well.
"Hey," Fred beamed as he appeared with George. "How was—"
"We're not going to talk about Quidditch," Sapphire replied quickly, kissing his cheek. "Honestly, it's not making me feel any better."
"How you feeling?" Fred asked quietly. "You left before I woke up this morning and I haven't seen you since."
The concern in his voice was evident and Sapphire knew why. She often had a habit of disappearing from their room, where she had been staying since the start fo the year, whenever she had a nightmare. She'd avoid them for a few hours in order to attempt to wake herself up enough despite the lack of sleep.
