With a name destined to get her into trouble, Sapphire Black knew that the only way to live life was by taking risks and never looking back. Her brother, family and friends at her side were all that she needed to make it through the poor handout sh...

For the most part, things were peaceful at Hogwarts for Sapphire Black.
That was the strangest thing to happen. Her entire life had never been peaceful, even when she was living with Andromeda and Ted. Dora had always been a wild child, too, and the three of them would go running around together whenever she wasn't at school. Of course, Hogwarts had been some of the best times in her life — though also including some of the worst.
"Hello, Golden Trio!" Sapphire sang as she skidded to a stop next to them.
The snow fell around her as she briefly looked around Hogsmeade. She was escorting the students as an extra form of security...though her main job was to keep an eye on Harry, considering he was the one most at risk.
"Sapphire!" Ron jumped, turning to her. "Where the bloody hell did you come from?"
"The sky," Sapphire replied sarcastically.
"Funny," Ron muttered. "Are you stalking us?"
"No," Sapphire scoffed. "I'm here for security and to meet with Dora. Have you just been to Honeydukes?"
"Yeah," said Harry. "Why aren't you with Alex?"
"Believe it or not, we also need time apart," Sapphire replied with a small smile. "He's trying to get on Slughorn's good side."
Admittedly, Alex was better at being persuasive than Sapphire due to his calm and collected demeanour. Besides, he had the addition of being a Slytherin to get on Slughorn's good side.
Hogsmeade streets weren't busy and no one seemed to be lingering around for a chat. Instead, people wanted to quickly get inside so they were out of sight, with the only exception being someone Sapphire knew. They were fumbling with something gin his arms.
"Mundungus!" Sapphire yelled, holding her wand at her side.
"Oh, 'ello', Sapphire," said Mundungus Fletcher.
The squat, bandy-legged man with long, straggly, ginger hair jumped anddropped an ancient suitcase, which burst open, releasing what looked likethe entire contents of a junk shop window.
"You know, my dad and I were just talking about how things had gone missing from our house," said Sapphire, picking up something Silver.
"Gimme that!" Mundungus. "Gotta scrape a living—" At Sapphire longing glare, he quickly added, "Well, I'll see you all — OUCH!"
