With a name destined to get her into trouble, Sapphire Black knew that the only way to live life was by taking risks and never looking back. Her brother, family and friends at her side were all that she needed to make it through the poor handout sh...

Sapphire Black and Lee Jordan were depressed.
It was overdramatising it slightly but Sapphire was sure that part of her left wrote the twins. She was starting to wish she'd joined them too...give up being an auror, but she knew she needed to do something she was strong at. Helping people was something she needed to do and she didn't want to waste her skills by not doing so.
Without Fred and George there, it was up to Angelina and Alicia to make sure that Sapphire didn't end up on her own. Sapphire was still in the boy's dorm and had no intention in moving back into the girl's but she had often spent the majority of her time with Fred or George.
Quidditch was still there to occupy her at least.
It was Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw, on the last weekend of May. Although Slytherin had been narrowly defeated by Hufflepuff in their last match, Gryffindor was not daring to hope for victory, due mainly (though of course nobody said it to him) to Ron's abysmal goalkeeping record.
It had gotten so bad that even Alex tried to help him...mainly for the sake of his sister's sanity. Sapphire had no idea if it was making much of an impact and Alex had emphasised that a lot of it came down to confidence.
"Right, listen up!" Sapphire called, standing in front of her time. "I know we haven't had the easiest time but we've got this, alright? We know what we need to do and we know Ravenclaw's weaknesses. Let's get them!"
Lee's commentating showed just how the game has started...depressingly. The Slithering chanting didn't help and Sapphire was getting frustrated with it.
Sapphire positioned herself at the center of the pitch, her heart pounding in rhythm with the cheers and jeers swirling around her. She could feel the weight of expectation pressing down on her, especially with the memory of Fred and George's absence looming in her mind. They should never have been banned and kicked off her team. She needed them.
The whistle blew sharply, cutting through the noise, and she was off, darting forward on her broomstick like a streak of red lightning. The Quaffle was in her hands, a familiar weight that both comforted and ignited her competitive spirit. She dodged to the left, narrowly avoiding a Ravenclaw chaser who lunged toward her but failed to make contact. With determination fueling her, Sapphire caught sight of the goalposts.
As she neared the Ravenclaw defense, she could see Cho Chang looking for the snitch, her focus sharp as she readied herself for the challenge. Sapphire's mind raced; she needed to outmaneuver her. In an instant, she feigned to the right, watching as one of the Ravenclaw chasers shifted her weight and began to follow. With a swift flick of her wrist, Sapphire spun the Quaffle around her outstretched arm, darting toward the goalposts with newfound speed.
