"Thinkin' it's time to go get 'em

They ain't gonna know what hit 'em"

An unsettling anticipation hung in the air, almost like an omen that something bad was approaching. The once cerulean sky had given way to a blanket of ominous grey clouds, which loomed heavy and oppressive, as torrents of rain fell, driven by fierce, swirling winds. For a brief moment, an unsettling silence enveloped the landscape, shattering suddenly with the crackling sound of someone apparating in the distance.

The wizard moved warily towards the source of the chaotic magic that crackled through the air, casting a blue light that illuminated the twisted tree lines around him. The magic surged wildly, a tempest of uncontrolled power, as a witch stood at its centre, radiating energy that both dazzled and terrified. Protective barriers shimmered like a mirage, and despite the wizard's considerable experience, he found himself unable to breach the defences.

"You shouldn't be here," The witch called out, stopping in her tracks.

"On the contrary, Miss Black. I am here for you."

Sapphire Black closed her eyes, letting down the protective shield around her and allowing the wizard to walk towards her. She didn't look at him, not even needing to.

"You've been practising your magic."

"Yeah. The Death Eaters won't know what hit them," Sapphire smirked then paused. "I don't wish to speak to you, Dumbledore."

"Yes, as everyone keeps telling me," Albus Dumbledore hummed. "You avoided me, only confiding in Severus. An odd choice for you."

"Did he—"

"He did not tell me a word," Dumbledore held up his hand. "I must insist that we speak, perhaps someone more private."

"I'm busy," Sapphire said through gritted teeth.

"Yes, I noticed that you were training the ancient magic. A result of what happened at the ministry, I presume?" Dumbledore walked closer towards her. "Being out here alone isn't safe."

"I need it. I don't want to hurt anyone with something I can't control," Sapphire replied. "I know what I'm doing."

She took a breath.

"You want to talk? Fine."

They were gone within a second, leaving the forest completely empty and reappearing in the office of Dumbledore. The headmaster was the only one who could apparate in and out of the castle and chose when to take the spell down.
