"AYY SAPPHIRE GOT A GOAL!" Lee yelled happily. "YOU GO GIRL!"

"JORDEN!"

Another Ravenclaw chaser closed in, arms outstretched, but Sapphire ducked and twisted mid-air, her heart leaping as she evaded yet another attempt to block her. With one final surge of adrenaline, she threw the quaffle to Katie, who scored.

The cheers erupted like fireworks, a wave of relief rushing over her as the score flashed in Gryffindor's favor. But there was no time to bask in her triumph; the game was far from over.

As the play continued, tension filled the air. Sapphire watched as Ron faced shot after shot. For a moment, it felt like despair cloaked Gryffindor's spirits, but then, like a miracle, something shifted. She didn't know if it was the words of encouragement from his teammates but Ron finally found his rhythm.

Sapphire could hardly believe it as Ron soared across the goalposts, blocking a fierce shot from Roger Davies with an impressive dive. The crowd erupted, and a flood of relief swept over her. She didn't know what Alex had said to him but she couldn't help but thank him.

"Come on, Ron!" Sapphire shouted joyfully, feeling the tide begin to turn.

With each save he made, the Gryffindor spirits rose higher. Every block Ron executed felt like a promise that they might just pull off the impossible. The match reached its height as Ginny Weasley, flying like a comet, wheeled around the pitch in search of the Golden Snitch.

In one final swoop, Ginny snatched the Snitch from the air, and the stadium erupted into raucous cheers. Sapphire felt a rush of exhilaration as the game ended, their victory secured. Sapphire couldn't help but grin, her heart swelling with pride for her team.

"Weasley is our King, Weasley is our King, He didn't let the Quaffle in, Weasley is our King!"

Sapphire was close to tears as she held the silver Quidditch cup in the air, her teammate around her and the Gryffindor's singing loudly in the common room. Parties for Quidditch were like no other in this house and if it weren't unprofessional, Sapphire was sure McGonagall would be here too.

"I still don't quite believe it to be honest."

Sapphire Black sat in Professor McGonagall's office, biscuit in hand, as she ranted about winning the Quidditch world cup to her. For them, it wasn't just another win but also a 'f you' to Umbridge, who wanted to see them all fail.

"It's a shame N.E.W.T.s have to ruin my fun," Sapphire pouted.

"They're important, you ought to pay attention to them," McGonagall warned.

"I am," Sapphire added quickly. "I'm studying, I promise."

"And how are the nightmares?" McGonagall asked kindly.

"I'm keeping them away," Sapphire admitted, crossing her arms. "It's just...what Dumbledore said when he left bothered me."

McGonagall furrowed her eyebrows and it became apparent to Sapphire that her teacher didn't really understand what Dumbledore had been referring to.

"I can do magic that's...unique, old I suppose," Sapphire said quietly. "I was practising but ever since he said that it was dangerous, I'm finding it hard to even get it to show again."

"Often, things we are looking for do not want to show," said McGonagall. "Perhaphs you just need to let it appear. I'm not sure what you can do, though I know you well enough to know you won't be stupid with it."

"Stupidity comes with my name at times," Sapphire joked.

"Oh, I am aware."

"I'm really going to miss you, Professor," Sapphire muttered. "Really."

"Why on earth do you talk as though you will never see me again, Sapphire?" McGonagall said with a hum.

"It's just...what I don't?"  Sapphire breathed out, fiddling with her hands. "It's just, I have this really bad feeling about leaving Hogwarts and I hate it."

"You mustn't think about that now, it'll do you no good," said McGonagall sternly.

"You're right, I'm sorry," Sapphire stood, stretching her arms. "You're still my favourite Professor and you don't have to tell me I'm your favourite because I know you're not allowed—"

McGonagall smiled knowingly.

"Alright, I should go prepare for my exams. Bye Minnie!"

 Bye Minnie!"
