Flying was a weakness of Jaune in the anime, and I guess it transferred to me as well, even if I never had motion sickness in my first life. I kept it in as much as possible and hoped that the [Environmental Adaptation] takes effect as soon as possible. I really don't want to puke.

I kept it in for a few minutes, and I could already tell that it was starting to disappear. [Environmental Adaptation] for the win! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'm not going to be called Vomit Boy, especially not by Ruby, since I am going to be helping her not becoming Cater Face!

Looking around, I can see the other students socialising. In the far corner of the bullhead, I can see Cardin and his posse being idiots. I can hear them talking about how they are going to be the new number one Huntsman-in-training, even better than Pyrrha Nikos. Wow, that was very delusional of them. Then again, they probably don't know that Pyrrha was actually going to be at Beacon.

Speaking of Pyrrha, I can see her on the other side of the bullhead. Oum! I want to approach her so badly, but if I do that, she might think I'm one of her fans. You know what, I'm going to introduce myself. I mean, I don't really know her besides who she was in the show. They did not even show any of her fights before she came to Beacon. Then again, I can always watch them in my scroll later.

Steeling my nerves, I approached Pyrrha with the intention of getting to know the real her. Sure, I saw a bit in the show, but it did not show the entirety of who Pyrrha Nikos is. What is better than getting to know her from the person herself?

Since Pyrrha was looking outside the window, I wanted to declare my presence. So, I tapped her shoulder and spoke to her.

"Hello," I said. She looked at me, and I gave her a wave.

She looked at me, waving at her, and she said nothing. It continued for about a minute before she finally spoke.

"I'm sorry. Did you need anything?" asked Pyrrha. She was looking at me. Checking if I was going to be asking her for a signature, I can totally see it in her face, but there was hope as well. Hoping that I would not be one of her fans since I did not immediately gush in her presence.

"Well, I saw you alone and thought I could get to know you," I said. It wasn't a lie since I did want to get to know her in person, not the Pyrrha I saw in the show.

"I'm Jaune, by the way," I said. I then brought out my hand for a shake. She looked at my hand, smiled and shook it.

"I'm Pyrrha Nikos," she replied. She spoke in a low enough tone that I could hear her but no one else. She was wary of others knowing she was there. No wonder her face was so close to the windows. It was so that no one would be able to recognise her.

Again, there was an awkward silence, with her just shaking my hand for a minute or so. I didn't know what to say; I was not the most social person back on Earth. Then, I was reborn as a person who was also socially awkward. Oum! Ruby and I are so similar.

"Ahem, sorry. I am not really used to making friends," I confessed. I did not want the awkwardness to continue. So, I want to make light conversation.

"I don't mind. I'm not exactly the best at it as well," said Pyrrha. She was happy that I was not going on about her being the Invincible Girl.

"Since you are in this bullhead, that means you are a Huntress-in-training. What made you pick Beacon?" I asked. Oum! I'm not really good at this. Why would I even ask such a personal question in our first meeting?

"Many reason...But mostly because I wanted a change of scenery," she said. I can tell that it was true, but even if I did not know about her reason from the show, I can clearly tell that the reason she gave me was not the main reason.

"Change of scenery? Does that mean you aren't from Vale?" I asked. Of course, I knew that she was from Argus.

"I lived most of my life in Mistral. More specifically, Argus, the port town that was built alongside Atlas," she replied. She then looked at me and asked me the same questions.

"For me, I came to Beacon since they have a good scholarship program, which candidates would be access during the initiation. I am hoping to be one of the people who receive the scholarship since I don't really have much money for tuition. Atlas, Mistral and Vacuo don't have the same scholarship program, especially Vacuo," I replied. It was a true reason. My reason, and not any other.

We continued to converse, and before we knew it, we were already landing. I thanked Oum that I did not puke, and I thanked the [Environmental Adaptation] for allowing me to adapt to the situation. As I was heading out of the bullhead with Pyrrha, I noticed that Yang was about to abandon Ruby.

"Hey, I saw someone that I know. Do you mind if I greet her?" I asked Pyrrha.

"Not at all," said Pyrrha. I can see that she is hoping that people I know would be the same as me and not gush at her the moment they saw her.

I approached Ruby as Yang left her. I saw that she was about to fall from dizziness. I dashed to her and brought my arm to her back and held her up. I smiled at her.

"Are you okay? You were about to fall on those luggage," I said. I then pointed behind her. Who happens to also have Weiss beside the luggage.

"What do you think you are doing? How could you be so careless as to nearly fall on my luggage? Luggage that contains sensitive Dust!" said Weiss. She was being her original haughty and bitchy self.

"Why on Remnant are you making a big deal about this? Nothing happened. Yet, you desire to make a scene out of nothing. Are you that attention-starved?" I said. I did not want to be mean, but she was being a bitch, when nothing even happened. I get why she got angry in the show, but nothing happened here. So, what was with the attitude?

"Wha! How dare you!" she said. She said nothing further since she saw one of the people she desired to make a team with. She saw Pyrrha behind me and Ruby.

She tried to shove me aside but couldn't. So, she walked by me instead. She then faced Pyrrha and tried to be all prim and proper after her display.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Nikos. I am Weiss Schnee, the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company," said Weiss. She then curtsied.

"I have heard all about your reputation back in Mistral. I say we would make a wonderful team here at Beacon. With your talent and my resources, we will be known as one of the best teams here. What do you say, Miss Nikos?" said Weiss. She is someone who has gotten the best of the best since birth. So, here at Beacon, she wanted to have the best of the best as her partner.

"I'm sorry, but I have no intention of seeking a partner at this moment. I would rather let the chips fall where they may," replied Pyrrha. I could tell that she was repulsed the moment Weiss mentioned her reputation.

"I see...However, you do wish to team up. Here is my contact info, or you know, I will be around," said Weiss. She handed Pyrrha a calling card before taking her luggage and heading to the auditorium.

"Sheesh! What got up her butt," said Ruby. Pyrrha looked at her and laughed. She was not disappointed with Ruby.

"You know, this is the second time we've met, and you would have been on the ground again if I hadn't caught you," said Jaune. He was still holding Ruby.

"Maybe you are the problem! Maybe it is easy to fall for you!" said Ruby. She was embarrassed that Jaune had mentioned the time at the bakeshop, but she did not realise what she had said.

"Oh, my," said Pyrrha. She was giggling.

I can see the confusion on Ruby's face before she realised what she said.

"I did not mean it like that!" said Ruby. She was trying to justify her words.

Ruby tried to run away as she covered her crimson face, but Jaune stopped her. She really needed to learn how to make sure that her cloak could not be used against her.
