My return to Remnant is nearing. After seven months here, that amounts to eight days back home, meaning I would have only a few days before the start of the second semester, which also means that I would have to deal with Cinder and her lot. Although, to be honest, it isn't going to be that difficult. I could also use this chance to accomplish one of the missions I recently received.
Cinder's Ashes and Maiden's Revival – C-rank
The Fall Maiden's attacker is coming to Beacon during the second semester. Find a way to return the power of the Maiden to its rightful maiden. At the same time, find a way to heal the broken maiden. Rewards: [Divine Sense], [Demon Sealing Strike], [Hanging Garden].
Bleached Difference – B-rank
In another world, there is a place known as Urahara Shoten. Find the shop and help them in their war against Aizen Sosuke. Help Kurosaki Ichigo learn how to use his Quincy abilities earlier than in canon. Help Kurosaki Ichigo consciously draw his hollow powers and last at least thirty minutes. Help Kurosaki Ichigo in properly wielding a sword. Rewards: [Kido], [White's Hollow Mask], [Cybele].
I was already planning to do all of that when I returned to Remnant, but sure. I certainly won't refuse such fantastic rewards. Additionally, (Hanging Garden) would be useful. However, the opportunity to train Ichigo is quite appealing. As for (Kido), it's not a significant reward because I can replicate Kido's effects using the Book of Magic Knowledge. Nevertheless, (Perfect Hollowfication) and (Cybele) are quite good. I wonder if I would be able to control (Cybele) as I wish?
After reviewing the mission notification, I dismissed it and returned to my previous task. I'm currently training Bell. He has made amazing progress and is capable of performing amazing feats with Lightning Blade.
"You've made tremendous progress," I told Bell, who was breathing heavily on the ground.
"Yeah, but I'm still far from you," Bell said, showing signs of frustration.
"True, but you can not dismiss all the hard work you've done to get where you are. The gap between as is massive in the first place. In my opinion, you are as powerful as a level 5, but since you're comparing yourself to me, you don't seem to recognise the progress you have made. Be proud of the progress you have made," I told him. I'm not normal in the first place. My strength does not come from the blessing of the Gods, but from something far more powerful. There was no competition from the beginning.
After another hour of training, we concluded our session. Bell returned to his home with Hestia, while I made my way back to Hephaestus Manor. As I arrived, I heard the sounds of things being shifted around. Opening the door, I found Hephaestus packing her belongings. I recalled her agreement to join me, on the condition that she could return occasionally to ensure her Familia was operating smoothly.
"Oh, welcome back. How was your training with Bell?" Hephaestus asked. She was still packing as she spoke to me.
"It went well. He exceeds the typical Level 2 adventurer in strength. I doubt any Level 2 could rival his capabilities. I initially planned to grant him another magic spell, but I reconsidered and thought it best to let him discover his own. So, I decided against giving him one," I explained. This is indeed true; Bell can outperform those considerably above his level, and he needs to be able to obtain things for himself.
"In terms of levelling speed, he is not the fastest, but the power he holds is not something that can ever be replicated. He is a Level 2, yet the power he exhibits far surpasses any Level 2 and is in the region of a Level 5 adventurer. Can you imagine what it would be like if he actually reaches Level 5?" said Hephaestus. I smiled. Bell would be unparalleled in this world.
...
After three more days, it was finally time for us to depart. Hephaestus had already made her rounds to ensure that everything would go smoothly while she was away from Orario. She genuinely cares for her people—her children, as she puts it. I can't help but wonder if she would be even more protective if we had our own child. Just a thought that will likely keep me occupied for a bit.

Once again, I express gratitude to all the enhanced monsters that hunted me down. I managed to collect more than enough to bring Hephaestus to Remnant with me. By clicking on the {World} tab, I found [Remnant]. From that point, I'm faced with a choice: leave now or take another companion with me. It seems I must pay for each person wanting to join me in a different world. It's quite expensive, but ultimately worth it.
"Are you ready?" I asked Hephaestus. She nodded, and I added her name before making the payment. Three million for a goddess. I wonder if the prices vary for different beings.
A bright light engulfed us, and we disappeared from where we stood.
...
The moment we could see again, we were no longer in a medieval setting. Instead, there were cars and modernish buildings. This is definitely Remnant. How do I know for sure? It is currently evening, and the broken moon is very visible.
"I would say this place is quite different from Orario... What is this? My Arcanum is active, and it detects something foul in this world," said Hephaestus as she tightened her fist.
"What I assume you are feeling is referred to as a Grimm. These beings are creatures of darkness that traverse the world. Unlike your realm, this world is approaching extinction. Our population is significantly diminished. Nonetheless, the folly of the populace is boundless, as they persist in discriminating against individuals who differ slightly from themselves," I articulated to her. I remain perplexed by the ignorance displayed by the inhabitants of Remnant. They are aware that Grimm outnumbers them, yet they continue to engage in conflict with one another.
"Come on, let's stay at a hotel today. Tomorrow, I'll search for a place to sell Jack Bird's Golden Egg and buy land for our house. Just let me know what you need for your personal forge, and I'll make it for you," I told her. She nodded in agreement, and we headed to our destination.
"By the way, what is a hotel?" Hephaestus asked. She was not familiar with the words since no such establishment existed in Orario.
"A hotel resembles an inn, serving as a place for short stays. Typically, inns are smaller and offer a cosier atmosphere, at least here in Remnant. They are often located in quiet towns or small settlements outside the kingdom. Many are family-owned, creating a feeling of staying in someone's home. In contrast, hotels are larger and more formal, generally situated within the kingdom walls. Hotels tend to provide additional amenities such as gyms, room service, and sometimes pools. You can easily come and go without engaging with anyone if you prefer," I said to her. I hope my explanation was clear enough. I never imagined I'd need to explain something like this. She nodded at me and we made our way to the closes hotel.
