Jaune Arc: Unlimited Enhancements

What a day. I was able to complete two of the missions that I had, garnering me [Observe] and [Leadership]. Then, I was happy to know that I was chosen to be one of the scholars, along with Ren, Nora, and two other students. However, we have to have a certain performance within the school, or we could lose our scholarship. I am also glad to know that we have a stipend of 5,000 Lien per month. This is mostly due to the cost of Dust.

We were then all escorted to our dorms. However, Miss Goodwitch did ask me how come I did not have any baggage with me. I shrugged at her and did not answer. She then had a look of concern about my well-being. She probably thought I had nothing, which is why I needed the scholarship.

We got into our dorms. Ren, Nora and Pyrrha did not want to do anything more than sleep. So, that's what they did. As for me, I was here, checking my new skills and my EP.

Observe – F-rank: The ability to see some information of the intended target. In this level, only the Mind, Body and Spirit are visible for viewing.

Leadership – F-rank: This ability allows the group to follow the user as a leader, but will question the leadership depending on the situation and plans given.

Looking at all of the skills I have, [Observe] is not a priority. I have decided to increase the rank of [Sword Mastery], [Spear Mastery], and [Leadership]. Then I should take up marksmanship.

Sword Mastery – D-rank: Allows the usage of handling a sword freely. Learning to wield a sword has increased by 2.5x.

Spear Mastery – D-rank: Allows the usage of handling a spear freely. Learning to wield a spear has increased by 2.5x.

Leadership – D-rank: This ability allows the group to follow the user as a leader, but would sometimes question the leadership depending on the situation and plans given.

Hmm...Since I can still enhance another, I mean, why not? The points will just be sitting there. With 59 EP, I can still enhance another of the F-rank to a D-rank.

Observe – D-rank: The ability to see some information of the intended target. In this level, only the Mind, Body and Spirit are visible for viewing, while also being able to view the percentage of Aura.

Looking at all the rank-ups, I closed the interface and sighed. I killed a horde of Fifty Grimm, and it only net me 109 EP, while the Deathstalker and Nevermore gave 10 EP each. With the amount of EP I am getting, it would take ages before I can make Mind and Spirit catch up with my Body.

Thinking about it, there are many Goliaths and other powerful Grimm at Mt. Glenn. What would happen if I killed them? I mean, it would probably help slow down the invasion of the White Fang and Cinder. However, I might end up on their radar since Mt. Glenn is their base of operation. I don't know if that is true right now, but I don't want to take the risk.

I clicked on the {Missions} tab, but nothing new came up. Still just the two remaining ones from the other day that I have yet to achieve since one of them was long term and the other was a designated event that has yet to happen.

I closed the interface and decided to head to bed. It was quite late and we had classes at nine tomorrow morning. I don't get why they did not allow a day's rest before the start of class. We just fought with Grimm as our initiation. I stopped thinking about it and decided to just shut my eyes and sleep.

In the office of Ozpin. He and Glynda were reviewing the footage from the Grimm horde that Jaune had slaughtered. Ozpin was smirking at his Deputy.

"Do you still think the transcript is fake?" asked Ozpin. He was smug about letting one of the transcripts that Glynda spotted as fake to get approved.

"Maybe I made a mistake with my assessment of the authenticity of the transcript. I'll make sure that I double and triple check them in the future," said Glynda. She sighed and pushed her glasses that were sliding down back into position.

"You know, the way he fights, it doesn't seem like he was trained in a controlled environment. It almost seems like he trained through lived experience," said Ozpin. The movements that Jaune did were in no way flashy like most Huntsman and Huntress. The way he fought was a fight for survival.

"Ozpin, I know that look. What are you thinking?" asked Glynda. It was the look he gave some people he finds interesting. It was a look he gave Ruby when they first met.

"What do you think is his limit? I think if we pit him with the likes of team RWBY and maybe CFVY, he would emerge victorious without the help of his team. What do you think? Should we give it a test?" said Ozpin. Glynda sighed. Whatever she tells him now, he is not going to listen.

The following morning, I woke up early. It was only five in the morning, and I had plenty of time. While my team was sleeping, I started practising [Blut]. Just because I can rank up my skills does not mean I would stop training them. Right now, I am training the speed of my switch between [Blut Vene] and [Blut Arterie]. Since I cannot activate them at the same time, I have to perfect the timing of switching between them.

It is a shame that I won't be able to train my [Blut Anhaben]. If I did, I would end up disturbing those still asleep due to the light show of the skill. For now, I am content with training the two forms of [Blut] that I could use during the spars in combat class.

Without even knowing it, the alarm clocks in the room started going off. It was already seven in the morning, and everyone except for Jaune needed to take a shower before class.

"Good morning! I hope you guys had a good night's rest," I said to them. Pyrrha smiled at me. But I could tell she was not a morning person. She got up, walked to her closet, and opened a box that had yet to be unpacked. She took out her uniform, towels and undergarments and made her way to the bathroom. Nora did the same, and no one questioned it when she entered the bathroom with Pyrrha still there.

For a couple of girls, they did not take long in the shower. It only took them ten minutes. That was something I was not used to. Normally, when my sisters take a shower, each of them would take up to thirty minutes before leaving the bathroom.

After the girls, it was Ren's turn, and he did not take long, as well. Everyone was ready before eight in the morning. This was great. With our extra time, we decided to get to know each other. Of course, most of the information about Ren and Nora I already knew, but there were many instances that they told me things that were never shown in the show.

With our time used up, we headed to the classroom of Peter Port for Grimm Studies.
