"Ha! Do you really believe the rumours that are spreading that some unknown adventurer was able to take down that monster! If anything, that monster is probably roaming around somewhere in the dungeon! Instead of searching for it, we are wasting our time listening to how some blonde guy with weird clothing was able to kill it!" said Bete. He then took a chug of his ale.

"You do know that it was a member of our Familia that reported the incident, right?" said Tiona. She is not one for rumours, but it was a fellow Familia member. In fact, it was the scout they sent to observe the monster after they got their asses kicked.

"Ha! Look around you! Just because that scout was part of our Familia does not mean he wouldn't lie! People lie every day to their own families! What is a Familia to them! Huh!" said Bete. He forgot that his own Goddess was the one who received the report about the findings of the scout.

"Also! If such a strong person really did kill that thing, he would probably be bragging about it!" Bete said. He then approached different people.

"You! Did you kill that irregular monster?" asked Bete. The man denied it. He was afraid that the werewolf would attack him if he spoke. So, he just shook his head rapidly.

"How about you?! Did you kill it?" said Bete. He was disturbing the patrons of the Hostess of Fertility. This caught the eye of Mama Mia. She was about to say something, but stopped when I replied.

"Yeah, what about it?" I asked Bete. He was surprised that I would claim to have killed the Mega Goliath.

"Pfft! Ha-ha-ha! Did you all hear that? He said he killed it! Ha-ha-ha!" he started laughing like a maniac.

"This is hilarious! What Familia are you even from? I doubt any of them would take in a wimp like you," said Bete. He was now attacking me verbally for no reason. I completely stayed calm.

"Hmm? I don't have a Familia and I don't plan to join one any time soon," I replied. This caused the entire establishment to laugh at my reply.

"Ha-ha-ha! This is rich! You claim to be unblessed by a God or Goddess' Falna. Yet, you claim to have defeated a monster I doubt you have even seen," said Bete. This guy is annoying.

"You say that you don't plan to join any Familia, but the truth is, no Familia would take a wimp like you! A piece of shit that would be nothing but another mouth to feed without any contibution to the Familia! I weakling that anyone can just trample!" said Bete. Yup! I'm going to beat the shit out of him.

"Oh? But isn't that you? A weakling that was not able to do anything but watch his entire clan die," I said. Okay, that might have been a little too much, but he is a piece of shit.

"What did you just say you fucking weakling!" shouted Bete. He grabbed me by my shirt and tried to punch me. I just sighed and did something I always wanted to do, ever since I saw it back on Earth.

I caught the arms of Bete. This was a shock to everyone. I, an unblessed person, was able to stop a punch from someone who was a Level 5, even if said person was intoxicated, but probably not for long.

I twisted Bete's arm. His Familia stood up to stop what was happening, but I used a spell that created chain bindings and bound them to their spots. Even if Loki is a Goddess, she was not able to escape from the chains if she didn't use her Falna.

Loki was about to unleash her Falna since she felt something horrid was about to happen. However, it was already too late. I infused my hand with [Mana Burst] and snapped my finger in front of Bete, causing him to fling back with his limbs ripped apart. This was enough to cause all the patrons, workers and owner of Hostess of Fertility to quiet down.

I looked at Loki and saw she was about to use her Arcanum. I enclosed her in the same bounded field that I used with Hephaestus. However, this was slightly modified to use the Goddess' Arcanum as a way to keep her in. The only way out was to seal her Arcanum.

"Calm down, you flat-chested Goddess. If you had stopped him earlier, none of this would have happened. You need to learn to control your dog. You don't know who he might bite and end up getting himself killed. You are lucky it was me he tried to attack, otherwise, others would have just straight up killed him without remorse," I said to her. I can see the anger in her facial expression, but she accepted what I said.

"However, let me teach him a little lesson. I wonder what would happen to the puppy if I let him experience death!" I said to Loki. I smirked at her. The only reason I am doing this is because I really hate Bete, and I wanted to test out [Ingall].

I pierced Bete's heart with my spear [Long Reach]. He died instantly. There was no question about it. All the members of the Loki Familia tried to escape my chains, but they are too weak to do so. It was a binding spell that I created to be able to bind myself.

I looked at the body of Bete, and it did not faze me. This is not the first time I have seen a dead body. Again, I have killed bandits, and I have killed those scumbag in the dungeon who tried to rob me.

I brought out my hands with my index finger outstretched, and miraculously, my blood gathered around where my fingerprints are, and the blood dropped to the ground. There was a magic circle, and Bete's body burned before a new him appeared from the magic circle.

Bete was checking his body to see if he was okay. When he looked up and saw me, he freaked out and ran out of the establishment. I looked at all the faces of the people in the pub, and smirked at them. They were murmuring about how I was able to resurrect someone, which should be impossible.

This was a good time to test another magic that I recently raised to A-rank.

A spell that erases memories of the target. It can affect even the memories of the world itself. Memories erased with Neria cannot be retrieved, for it is a permanent loss.

With the memories erased, I took my seat and waited for my food to arrive. I did not erase the memories of me making an order. As for Bete, I doubt anyone would believe him. Sure, Loki could discern he was telling the truth, but she would probably just brush it off as one of his weird dreams.
