She was now standing beside Kanning at school. Apparently, Kanning wanted to congratulate F4 on their graduation, but Gorya wasn’t coming—so, of course, she had dragged her along instead.

All she wanted was to enjoy her time alone at home, but fate clearly had other plans for her.

Her eyes dropped to the bouquet in Kanning’s hands.

"Who are you going to propose to?" she asked dryly.

Kanning looked at her, cheeks slightly flushed. “No one.”

She smirked and nudged her shoulder. “Then why did you bring the bouquet of love? Flowers of love?”

“They’re just flowers!” Kanning defended, hugging them tighter. “They’re… a kind gesture.”

“Yeah,” she said with a raised brow. “Because red roses and baby’s breath totally scream just being polite.”

Kanning didn’t respond—too focused on peeking at the small group ahead.

MJ stood with a few classmates, animated as always, joking about something. Ren, as usual, lingered on the side—quiet, distant, somehow still commanding all the attention without trying.

She didn’t expect him to look over. But he did.

Their eyes met for the briefest second, and she quickly looked away.

She should’ve stayed home.

“Come on,” Kanning whispered.

“No. Absolutely not.”

“Too late.”

Before she could react, Kanning grabbed her wrist and started walking—dragging her toward them.

“I hate you,” she muttered.

“You’ll thank me later.”

As they approached, MJ noticed them and immediately lit up.

“Well, well, look who decided to show up!” he called out with a teasing grin.

Ren turned, his gaze steady on her now. Watching.

Her steps faltered slightly.

But Kanning didn’t let go.

And somehow… she didn’t really want her to.

“I just want to congratulate you all on your graduation,” Kanning said, standing a little straighter as she faced the two boys.

Ren gave a soft nod, his voice calm. “Thank you.”
