"Hey Phil."
Dan stared into phils eyes. The blue pools of water looked alive again.
Dan walked over and hugged phil.

"Er hi ? May I ask,who are you?"
Dans smile dropped. He had Phil back, but it wasn't really Phil... not the Phil Dan knew.

"I'm your best friend... we live in the same apartment. We also have a YouTube channel... you're amazingPhil"

"I don't know you.... we can't live in the same house..." Phil turned to the nurse who was stood in the corner of the room. "I don't know this man... who is he?"

The nurse came over.
"Phil.. this is Dan.. he lived with you before you were hit by a car.. the thing is, you lost your memory, and you can't remember who Dan is.."
She left the room to speak to the other doctors.

Dan grabbed Phil and hugged him while sobbing.
"Phil please remember me.. I'm your best friend and it pains me to say but I want you back... I want the Phil who knows me, back!"

Dan let go of Phil and looked into his eyes again. They looked so beautiful and blue.

"I'm sorry .. what's your name again?"

"Dan" He mumbled

"Dan.. hmm. Dan. Dan. Dan . Dan. Dan my best friend."

Dan nodded. And then had an idea. He whipped out his phone and went onto YouTube while searching: DanandPhilgames.

He went onto the first sims video when they were creating Dil. He passed to phone to Phil who looked so confused.

" hey Phil look.. that's me and you playing on our gaming channel... we were creating a character called d.."

"DIL!" Phil shouted.

" OMG YES PHIL HE WAS CALLED DIL" Dan smiled properly in the first time since the meal they had with their friends.

"I remember him a little bit... but I can't remember you ... you tell me who you are but I don't know you... at all and it's quite frightening."

"Don't be frightened little lion... I'm here for you"

"Little lion?? Who's that"

"It's you silly... I call you that... it's a nickname..."

"Oh"

A doctor came in and interrupted their chat. "So Dan and Phil, you'll be pleased to know Phil can be discharged and can go home!"

"Wait really ... OMG YES PHIL YOU CAN COME HOME!!"

"I don't know you... what if your not who you say you are ... you could murder me.. I'm scared. I'm not going with you!"

"Phil... please don't say that.. I wouldn't hurt you, ever! Please come h-home. I miss yo-you."
Dan started crying again. He wanted Phil to know who he was... he hated the thought of hurting Phil and the fact Phil thought this, broke Dans heart.

"Phil... Dan will take care of you..now Dan please come out here as we need to speak to you.. Phil you can get your bag and come out when we say.

Dan left the room with the doctors.
Phil felt lost. Scared. Who was Dan?

" So Dan. You will be happy to know Phils brain damage has only effected his memory slightly which means showing him memories and stuff to jog his memory on will help... it will take a month or two and Phil should be back up to speed. One day he will remember everything... it will just click.."

"Ok... I love Phil, I truly do .. but I'm scared about him .."

"He'll do just fine Dan.. trust me"
