Dans p.o.v:

Aww. I wanted to kiss him on the forehead. Tell him he's mine. Of course I couldn't do that. We were just friends. Besides he was asleep. What if he was staring at me? Crap.

"Morning Dan"

"Morning little lion.. your mum is coming round to see you today. She'll be here in an hour."

"Oh ok. You hungry?

"No. I'm fine... I got up last night to have a late night snack" Dan lied. He felt ill but it was a little bit of anxiety that made him feel uneasy. He was scared about what Phils mum would say... if she'd blame him.

"Oh."
Phil knew Dan was lying but didn't want to confront him about it. The last thing he wanted to do was make Dan angry.

No longer Dans p.o.v
Fast forward cause I'm lazy

"Phil your mothers at the door!"

"Ok"

Phil walked over to the door and welcomed his mother in. He remembered his mother which was good.

"Hi sweetie... where's Dan?..I kinda want to speak to him."

Dan heard what Phils mother said and a sudden wave of anxiety went through his body. What did she want him for?

"Oh he's just in the kitchen. I'll be in the living room"

"Ok"

Dan turned on the kettle to do Kathryn and phil a cup of tea.

"Hello Dan."

"Hi. How are you doing?" Dan was putting on a fake smile to hide his anxiety.

"I'm fine,But are you?"

"Yeah I'm fine... why'd you ask?"

"I feel like what happened to Phil has effected you quite a lot"

"I suppose you could say that... how to do you know?"

"Phil text me... he's worried about you Dan. My son cares about you and when he sees the way you try and hide how you really feel, he gets upset too"

"I really didn't mean to argue with him... on the night... it's sounds stupid but I got jealous... you know that I hadn't had a friend for the first 18 years of my life so when Phil is talking to someone, I'm scared he's going to leave me for someone else."
Dan didn't tell Kathy the part about him liking Phil more than a friend... he didn't want to seem stupid.

"It's fine Dan, it's was just an accident. However you know Phil wouldn't leave you. He wouldn't be able to leave this house of memories.. let alone you."

"What do you mean... I'm so boring and my mental health screws everything up... without Phil I would of killed myself. Sorry... bit depressing."

"If Phil wanted to leave he could've... he could've packed his bags and left. But he hasn't. I'm glad he has such a wonderful best friend who cares about him as much as he does."

Phil came into the kitchen.
"I was wondering where my brew went... has it flown away?" Phil laughed. He had heard some parts of the conversation and was pretty confused. "Without Phil I would've killed myself." "Would leave" what were they going on about?

For the next hour they talked about life and how Phil was getting on and it flew by quickly.

"I'd better get going then. Bye Love. Bye Dan. Thank you for looking after Phil."

"Mum I'm not a baby!"

"I know your not."

"Goodbye Kathy... have a good night"

Dan closed the door and turned round to see Phil behind him.

"Jesus Christ Phil, you scared me!"

"What were you talking about? I'm confused.. you were talking about leaving."

"It doesn't matter.. I'm not leaving Phil, I need you"

The last thing that Dan said kept repeating in Phils mind. I need you. I need you.

" I need you too"

"Stir fry?"

"What?"

"For dinner"

"Ohhh Yh sure"

They quickly ate up and got changed into their new jumpers that they both bought each other. Dan wore the grey hoodie with horns that Phil bought him and Phil wore the yellow Jake hoodie that Dan bought him.

"More death note?"

"Hell yeah!"

For the rest of the evening Dan and Phil cuddled up to each other on the couch watching anime.

"Right then, I'm going back to my room  ...Phil...?"

Phil was curled up next to Dan with his arms snakes around Dans waist and his head leant against Dans chest.
"Guess I'm not going anywhere then" Dan whispered.

"Night my little lion... I hope your sleeping.. because what I'm about to do next, will make me very embarrassed."

Dan kissed Phil on the forehead and waited.

"Night night bear" Phil smiled

"Oh crap.. sorry.. I erm didn't mean to you know.. I'll go to my room sorry."

"No don't be sorry.. and stay here.. I'm comfy.. if you leave I'll be lonely"

"Oh ok.  Night"

"Night"

Hehe did you find the p!atd part I put in 😂 I'm so sad 😂. Anyway I'm going sleep now as its 5 past 2 and I'm tired for once ... I have to go swimming tomorrow soooo
