"Gorgie, I am impressed," I said to Rose. "Your writing skills improved. This is the work I want to read from you."

"Talaga, Sammy?" Rose confirmed to me in all smiles with her puppy eyes. She was so fond of doing that.

I asked Rose to go here in my condo unit so that I can cook her the food I wasn't able to finish for her because we went into an argument: Ratatouille. This time, I'd make sure she will taste it. I was putting some of the ingredients in the boiling pot when Rose went near to me.

"Wala nang mali?" She asked me.

"Uhm. May mga ilan pa rin naman but they are just minor errors which can be fixed. All-in-all, this draft is better than the last one."

"Hay salamat!" Rose sighed in relief.

"Why, Gorgie?" I asked her.

"Akala ko kasi, hindi pa rin papasa sa'yo. Baka kumota na naman ako sa panlalait mo." She said to me and then she pouted. Even if she pouted, she still looked gorgeous.

I went near her and gave her a hug.

"Ano ka ba, Gorgie?" I asked her. "I will support you all the way, 'di ba? I will tell you the improvements needed without making you feel demeaned. So there's no reason for you to feel sad or sorry about it."

I smiled at her. Rose smiled back at me.

"You just need to finish the other half of your story," I said to her as I went back to cooking Ratatouille.

"'Yon nga rin ang iniisip ko," she said as she walked to the dining table. "What is a good twist in the story? Ayaw ko na kasi ng third party."

"I agree," I replied to her. There are a lot of films and TV Series already that tackled third parties. Too much of something makes it boring. "They all have the same result: the guy ends up with the real girl of her life while the third party gets left behind."

"Pero it still works," Rose explained. "I mean, tingnan mo ang 'The Legal Wife'. Sikat na sikat pa rin kahit na tungkol sa kabit."

"I assume it was because of how it was presented," I replied to her while I put some seasoning in the boiling pot. "But it's the same old banana. 'Two Wives' was better in my opinion."

"Sa bagay," Rose replied. "What about a freak accident? I mean, maaksidente si bisexual guy, tapos let's write from there."

I stopped my cooking and looked at her.

"Let's write?" I asked her blankly. Rose was now eating one of the grapes from my fruit collection when she saw me shot a look at her. She fixed herself and then looked at me seriously like she was about to spill the beans.

"Erik, naisip ko lang. Total naman tinutulungan mo na akong makapagsulat ng script, bakit hindi na lang natin pagtulungang sulatin ang kuwento ko?"

"You mean, we will write your script?"

"Oo. Tayo." She made that quote-and-quote sign when she said 'tayo'.

I hesitated before asking her. "Are you sure?"

"Oo," she answered me with a smile. "Sino pa bang pwede kong kasama magsulat kung hindi ang nagsulat ng 'Accidentally In Love'?"

I went back to the boiling pot which was already past its boiling time. I lowered down the fire. Then, I thought of what Rose said. I was not hesitant in helping her. But I was hesitant in writing with her. It would be really hard for me.
