3rd person pov

Jon lightly tugged Damian down onto his bed to lay beside him.

"Dami..." He whined. "Cuddle with meeeee!" Damian rolled his eyes but caved in upon seeing Jon's puppy eyes.

"Alright Beloved." He said, laying down so his face was pressed against Jon's chest. He could hear Jon's steady heartbeat.

Jon wrapped his arms round Damian, tangling their legs together under the covers. The superboy closed his eyes, on the verge of falling asleep.

Damian traced circles and lines on Jon's chest while Jon ran his fingers through Damian's rich black locks, pressing kisses to the crown of his boyfriend's head now and then.

They were both quiet, the only noise being the rain that poured outside Jon's bedroom window.

Damian felt his eyelids droop and he was about to fall asleep when Jon whispered three special words.

"I love you." The taller whispered. Damian's eyes opened. He but his lip, worrying if their relationship hadn't been going on long enough to say that.

Jon frowned upon not getting a response. Not even getting a 'shut up' or a sarcastic 'okay great' from his boyfriend like he usually would.

Jon knew Damian wasn't the best with feelings but he had hoped they'd moved to the stage in which they could say 'I love you'.

Five minutes passed and Jon was about to fall asleep, feeling unsatisfied.

"I love you too." Damian whispered. Jon smiled widely and kissed his boyfriend's forehead.

~Time Skip~

Lois walked by her son's bedroom, noticing the door open. Knowing Jon preferred it closed, she walked forward to do so.

Before she did, she peered inside. Lois smiled softly upon seeing Jon and Damian snuggled together in the middle of Jon's bed, blanket pulled up to their waists.

The ravenette smiled softly, happy her son had found love. She closed the door quietly and continued down the hall to her bedroom.
