Damian's pov

I walked down the hallway of Arkham Asylum to my office. I'd just finished a session with one of my regular patients and I was heading to my office to write my report.

Upon unlocking the door and entering the dingy room, I found my boss -Dr. Harleen Quinnzel- sitting on the couch tucked in the corner of the room.

"Ah Dr. Wayne. Please take a seat. I have something I'd like to discuss with you." She said, motioning to my desk. I obeyed and sat behind my desk.

I eyed a old looking blue file that had been placed in the centre.

"Have I done something wrong Dr. Quinnzel?" I asked, setting my clipboard and files I'd been carrying to the corner of my desk.

"No, no of course not. But I thought I'd let you know you're switching patients." She said, tucking a loose strand of blonde hair behind her ear.

"I am?" I asked in confusion. "I wasn't notified."

"You're being notified now." Dr. Harleen said as she stood.

She moved to standing in front of my desk, hands folded behind her back.

"Dr. Wayne, with the patients you've seen, each of them have made incredible progress. Even your very unstable patient known as Abuse -Colin Wilkes-." She said as one of her hand came forward. She slid the folder towards me.

"So. I thought that maybe you'd give a chance to the one of the worst villains." She said slowly. My stomach fluttered with anxiety butterflies.

"The super villain known as Angel, or Jonathan Kent." She said. I swallowed.

"You want me to work with him?" I asked as respectfully as I could. Dr. Harleen pursed her lips.

"I know it seems like a lot but you're our best doctor. If things don't go well, you don't have to continue. I just thought that with your incredible skill, maybe you could at least try." She said.

"You'll still see some of your other patients but most of them will be passed off to other doctors." She said. I was silent.

"You'll also get a fine raise for working with someone like him." The blonde added.

"I'll give it a try." I said. Dr. Harleen's face broke into a smile.

"Wonderful! You'll start working with him tomorrow at 10 am." She said.

"Sounds good." I said.

"That folder there is reports of all the doctors who've attempted working with him as well as all the information we have on him." She said as she walked to the door.

"I'll see you tomorrow Dr. Wayne."

~Time Skip~

I held up my badge to a security guard.

"I'll be working with Mister. Kent from now on." I said. The guard glanced at my badge before radioing something into his communicator.
