"Shit." Damian cursed.

The man pressed a button on his wrist and an alarm started going off in the massive warehouse.

"Go Superboy!" Robin ordered. We both jumped down from where we had been hiding up in the rafters.

"Real smart! Run right into the enemy!" I glared at the smaller.

"Not one of my best moments." He responded with as the assassins came swarming at us like bugs.

"Why are there so many?" I shouted, beginning to use my powers to fight back.

"How am I supposed to know?" Robin fired back knocking a few assassins out.

"I told you this was a bad idea!" I exclaimed. Robin grunted as he kicked another assassin.

"Shut up and fight!" He snapped.

I muttered incoherently before continuing to fight.

"They're higher skilled than I expected!" Robin shouted to me.

"Hey that's the Robin kid! The one who's wanted by the League!" Someone shouted. Damian and I froze momentarily.

"Hey yeah it is!"

"Quick get him!"

The assassins started going straight for Damian.

"Robin we need to leave!" I shouted, pressing my back against his, punching, kicking, doing anything to fend off the assassins.

Robin grit his teeth. He took a look at the sea of assassins. I looked back at him.

"Fine, fine! Let's go!" He said giving in.

I was about to turn around when I felt a sharp, stabbing, burning pain in my side.

I looked down to find a shard of Kryptonite embedded in my side.

I could already feel my power weakening as my blood seeped through my hoodie to the floor.

I cried out in pain and fell the ground.

"Jon!" Damian shouted, whirling around to help me.

As he did so, a bunch of the assassins took advantage of his loss of focus and grabbed him.

He struggled for a moment before an assassin knocked him out. He fell limp against one of the assassins.

"Damian!" I exclaimed, trying to stand. A foot kicked me in the head and I fell the floor once again.

I groaned softly. Through blurry vision I watched the assassins take Damian towards the ship.

"Damian..." I whispered before everything went black.

Damian was gone. He'd been taken back to his mother. Back to League where god knows what they were doing to him there and it was all my fault.
