"I didn't even recognize you! They did a great job," he smiled, still as polite as he was this morning. "Did you both want to get some lunch? Your interview isn't until 4 so we can get something to eat. I'm sure you're both hungry."

You were honestly starving, you hadn't eaten all day, skipping breakfast wasn't the best idea. You nodded in response; Joe sighed saying something along the lines of "I better go with you before you embarrass the agency even more." But you didn't pay him any attention, only thinking about food.

Fujimoto led you downstairs to the lobby taking you to the lunchroom off the first floor. Upon opening the door, you could smell the delicious food waiting inside.

"I ordered you guys some office favorites, a sort of welcome to the gang kind of thing." He scratched the back of his head, a sheepish smile on his face as you both took in the layout of food.

"Oh my god, this looks amazing, thank you so much. You really didn't have to do this." You spoke as you walked to the table trying to figure out what you wanted to try first.

"It's really no problem, I just hope you both enjoy it," he smiled letting you both take what you wanted.

The door swung open, but you didn't care to see who it was, you were likely to not even know the person. They stopped next to Fujimoto before you heard them speak.

"Who the hell? I thought I told you your hiring privileges were revoked."

Of course, the only other person you really knew was who would walk in here. Before you could make a snarky comment, Fujimoto spoke up, probably reading your expression. He must have known what had happened this morning.

"Uh actually it's Miss L/N. She just got a makeover for her undercover work."

"Huh," He looked at you then, trying to match you to the person he saw this morning. "Maybe they should try again, it's not a good look."

Joe yanked your arm, shaking his head at you before you could say anything in response. You gave him an are you serious kind of look but by the time you had turned back around he had already grabbed what he came in for and left. You were muttering to yourself as you joined Joe at the table, Fujimoto taking a seat as well.

"Is your boss always such a dick?" you questioned, not hiding the malice in your tone.

Fujimoto laughed, he probably had to defend Bakugou more times than he'd admit. "I know he seems like a bad guy, but once you get to know him, he mellows out a bit. I mean he saw something in me when I was in school, he gave me a chance when no one else did."

And there it was, the old they gave me a shot, now I look up to them as my hero, type of story. It made sense why he revered him so, but you couldn't understand how someone so nice could look up to and admire someone so upsetting. You ate your food in silence thinking through what would happen in the interview later, what the best strategy would be. Your eyes almost rolling into the back of your head from how good this food was. You could eat this every day if you had the chance.

"So, tell me about your quirk. I'll admit when I looked over your file, I thought your power was so cool and I can see why you decided to get into this line of work."

You chewed your food while he spoke, taking a drink of your water to wash everything down. "What do you want to know?"

He leaned forward, excitement in his eyes that you actually wanted to talk to him about it. "How does it work? Do you just get visions at random or like do you pick what you see?"

You couldn't hold back your chuckle from all the questions pouring from his mouth, you held up a hand to stop him. "Yes, and yes? I can see visions at random, but they have to be connected to a strong emotion or they have to have a pretty big affect on my life or myself personally. I can also see the future at will, but those visions are influenced by decisions so if someone changes their mind then the future changes."

Fujimoto was looking at you eyes wide, giving you his full attention. You weren't used to people asking you about your quirk. Having to usually work alone or with people at Orion you didn't normally meet new people that were interested about your ability. Actually, you usually kept it under wraps because most people would constantly ask you questions about their future that would annoy you after their second question.

The more you two talked the more you realized you both had a lot in common. You both making your way back upstairs laughing about some joke Fujimoto had made. Perhaps you may have found a friend to spend some time with while you were here.

"Well, I'll see you around. My office is just at the other end if you need anything." He pointed to the last glass door at the opposite end of the wall before he made his way towards it.

You opened the door to your own office, throwing your files on your desk, going to bury yourself into the work before you until it was time to head to your interview.
