I Think It's Time You Leave

The sun slowly began to rise, brightening the sky in front of you. The growing light tried to break through the tinted windows of the car, but it was really no use. Katsuki had accidentally woken you up this morning. It had been inevitable with him running around the apartment trying to pack his things. Instead of going back to sleep, you decided to drop him off at the airport, not that you wouldn't have been able to go back to bed. Honestly, you just wanted to spend whatever time you could with him before he left.

The car was parked near the runway as you waited for the plane the hero commission had prepared. You and Kat got here a bit early and they weren't quite ready to depart yet. With your fingers interlocked with his, you were holding on tightly in hopes that it would keep him here.

"Text me when you get there or better yet, call me. I want to know you got in safe," you told him as you leaned across the center console.

"What are you? My mom?" He joked, giving your hand a squeeze.

You scoffed, about ready to rip your hand away, "You're such a jerk."

Leaning in close he gave you a smirk, "Isn't that why you fell for me?"

Your heart skipped a beat, in this moment you hated how he could still get you flustered. "No it's not," you tried to play it cool, but you knew the pink on your cheeks gave you away.

"No?" He asked, "Are you sure?"

Gradually he grew closer to you, his nose softly brushing against yours. Looking at him through half lidded eyes, you weren't sure how he always got away with this.

"You know," he spoke quietly, his lips now a breath away. "I think we have enough time for a quickie."

"Katsuki," you pulled away, breaking the trance he had on you. "Was last night not enough for you?"

He grinned at you as he fell back into his seat. "I can never have enough of you. Plus, I don't think we've fucked in this car before."

"Is that all you think about?" You questioned with an eye roll.

"Why would you even ask that?" He laughed, "Come here." Kat pulled at you bringing you into his lap. "You should know that's not all I want from you."

He ran his hand up and down your back, pressing a small kiss to your lips. Hooking your arms around his neck, you let your head rest on his shoulder.

"I'll miss you," you murmured.

His arms tightened around you as he put his chin on top of your head. "I'll miss you too," he said almost too quiet for you to hear.

It became silent as the realization that he was leaving set in. After a few years of being with Kat, you'd grown accustomed to having him around. It's not like you haven't been by yourself before, but after losing Seth it wasn't something you felt comforted in. You would have your friends and work to distract you during the day and Fujimoto was sure to make the time pass quickly. The only thing you weren't looking forward too was your nights alone.

No matter how his day had gone, Katsuki always made sure to end it with you. It was the time you looked forward to most, because even if you didn't get to see him throughout the day, the evening was always set aside for you. It gave you the time to talk, to cuddle, to watch a movie, anything you felt like doing.

Kat took in a deep breath, putting your inner thoughts on hold. Giving you a squeeze he pressed his lips to the top of your head. "I've got to go now."

You sighed, not quite ready to let him go, "Alright."

He opened the door, picking you up with him as he got out. His arms stayed secure around you in a goodbye hug.
