Chores. That's what your weekend consisted of. It wasn't anything unusual, Kat worked most weekends anyway, but this particular time you wished you were at work as well. You wanted anything to preoccupy your mind and that was why you ended up deep cleaning the entire apartment. The morning after your trip to the bar, you hadn't cooled down any. That reporter really pissed you off, to think he would insinuate that Kat only wanted to be with you for your quirk. It couldn't be farther from the truth, but it got your mind working. Did the public really think the both of you were together for that reason only? Sure, your private life was kept under wraps, you and Katsuki much preferred it that way. So without a story on your relationship, did they just make something up to satisfy their readers?
Though your meticulous mind would love to overthink everything, you had bigger things to deal with this Monday morning. Walking into the Dynamite agency you found Fujimoto running around like a chicken without a head. He was frantically rushing, trying to get both the paperwork for the new sidekicks ready, while he needed to get a few papers printed for the extern students. Kat normally took on a single student. He would usually leave externships for other heroes to deal with, but he figured at least one student could benefit from working under him. Now that Deku spent the majority of his time abroad, Katsuki had been persuaded to take on a few more.
You never saw him as the type to be interested in teaching the younger generation, but he has been prone to surprising you. Though you have been told it wasn't always like that. Katsuki apparently wasn't too interested in talking to kids through the years and as he got older it began to change. You noticed early on that kids were his favorite fans to meet, even with his standoffish personality.
Besides the externships, Katsuki was also forced to hire some new sidekicks. Fujimoto was still his right hand man, but they both needed more help with running this place. Kat already had a plethora of people working under him and they helped things run smoothly. Yet at the rate this agency was growing, it was obvious more hands were needed if Kat wanted any sort of down time. So, he hired 3 more people. Which was generous, considering how picky he was with just about everything.
"Would you please do their orientation?" Fujimoto was practically on his knees. "You can hand them off to the other sidekicks after that, I just don't have time. These kids are going to be following me everywhere until Bakugou comes back and I can't watch them and get the others set up and go on patrol and-"
"I got it Fujimoto," you were moments away from laughing at how stressed out he looked and the day had yet to start. "I just need to check my email real quick and then I'll be in the conference room."
"Thank you!" Fujimoto exclaimed while pulling you into a hug. "I'll owe you one!" He called as he turned to head towards the lobby.
Pushing through the double doors to Kats office, you made your way to his computer. He had made minimal changes to the room and it looked much like the first time you had walked into it almost 6 years ago. It was still pretty boring and didn't show much of his personality, but he did add a few photos to his desk. Well, more like you took the time to frame them so he had no other choice, but to display them.
Logging into your email, you looked for a response about your request forms. Right at the top sat a message from the local police department, giving you the access you needed to look through the evidence found at the crime scene. Hopefully if Fujimoto didn't need anymore help you could go as early as this afternoon. Even though you would always help him out, you still needed to get your work done.
Just as you were about to log out, another email popped up. This one was from a large gossip site, asking if you wanted to do an interview with them. Reading through it, most of the email was fluffed with compliments to persuade you into saying yes, but you just about deleted it altogether as you read the name at the bottom of the message. It was signed by none other than Takahashi Fudo. How the hell did he get his hands on your email? This whole two faced personality had you almost as riled up as you were on Friday night.
