I couldn't keep this chapter to myself any longer, but here is the beginning of part three. Here's a little snippet of what's to come:  A pro hero reader finds herself teaching at UA. It doesn't help that her daughter now attends the school and wants nothing to do with her. After spending the last fifteen years protecting her kids from a villain who has threatened their lives, she must face the repercussions her actions have made while trying to keep her family from falling apart.

I have also created a new spotify playlist for this part.

Now lets get started 😊

"You're always like this! Why can't I just have a normal life?!" Aimi yelled as she threw her bag to the ground and stormed to her room. You both had returned home from school and much like every other afternoon she asked to hang out with her friends and like usual you told her no. It wasn't that you found joy in denying these requests, but she'd never understand your reasons for doing so.

It had been fifteen years since you received a letter from your so called 'friend'. Shortly after the first, a second had shown up, explaining that if you shared any information they gave you, they'd pick your loved ones off like flies. One glance into the future and you knew they weren't bluffing, there was no way to keep absolutely everyone safe. After that they never so much as tried to contact you again and for some reason that only put you on edge more than if they had. You had hoped and prayed to anyone who would listen that both of your kids would be born with Katsuki's quirk, but it was like the universe wanted to add to the continuous stress already building on your shoulders. The two of them had ended up with a variation of your power and unfortunately that also made them targets to whichever villain who had become set on coming after you. After you received the partially burned letter, you vowed to never let them come in harms way and that usually led to some very over the top schemes or outright denying their request to be more than 100 yards away from you.

A normal life was what you wanted for them as well and you tried to accommodate that as best you could, but it usually never ended up working in your favor. Aimi was now at the age where she wanted to spend her free time with her friends and you chaperoning those hangouts was completely out of the question. Only once in her entire life had you let her spend the night at a friends house and that was because, unbeknownst to her, you had Katsuki patrol the neighborhood while he was at work. Even when he had ended his shift, Fujimoto was stationed in the same neighborhood incase anything happened. While there was added protection around, you couldn't so much as catch a wink of sleep until she returned home.

Things only got progressively worse after your second pregnancy and when it became apparent that Kosuke had another variation of your quirk, you just about had a mental breakdown. You should have told Katsuki about this, you should have told anyone, but he was busy protecting the citizens of Japan and it's not like you were doing hero work. Once you got the hang of it, the full time position of keeping your family safe was something you felt wouldn't be too hard to handle. But you couldn't have been more wrong.

"You know she's going to try and sneak out tonight," Kosuke found you in the kitchen. He set his bag at the table before he went to pick up Aimi's. Even though both of them may have gotten their quirks from you, they looked more and more like Katsuki every single day. It made you wonder how his genes didn't win the fight for their quirks as well.

Your head was already in your hands as you watched her attempt to leave the house for the third time this month. "I know." Kosuke didn't have a power that let him willingly see anyone's set future, but after spending time in a house with two people who could, he grew accustomed to guessing what people would do. And he was actually pretty good at it.
