Sorry this took so long to get up. This holiday season ended up becoming way busier than expected. Not to mention I got sick, graduated from school and got two new jobs lol. But now that things have cooled down, I should be posting more consistently. I hope you all enjoy this chapter, we're now approaching the end of out story 😁

The sound of a blood curdling scream forced Katsuki up and out of bed. He immediately recognized who the voice belonged to, but that sound was entirely new. With his heart pounding against his chest, adrenaline rushed his system. He searched for the source, only to find an empty room. Though this couldn't really be described as a room, it resembled a jail cell more than anything. Another piercing scream rang through the air and Katsuki winced at the sound. There had to be something he could do. Anything to get this, whatever was happening to her, to stop.

"You want to help her don't you?" A voice spoke from the other side of the cell bars. His figure was barely visible in the murky hallway as he stood strategically placed within the shadows.

This area didn't look familiar compared to the first time he'd been here. It was dingy, poorly lit and nothing like the last room Dabi had thrown him in. The cement walls somehow felt colder than the metal ones from before and the eerie lack of lighting made the room feel more like some horror movie.

"Dabi mentioned that you would do anything to keep her safe. So I'm offering you a proposition of sorts." The man walked along the wall, keeping his identity safe in the darkness.

"Fuck you," Katsuki bit out. He was tired of acting like some lackey for villains. But his options weren't looking so great right now either. His captors had put his handcuffs back on while he'd been knocked out and with no real clue as to where this room was, he wasn't sure how he'd escape. Not to mention, you had been taken somewhere else entirely and there was no way of telling how much time he'd have to get to you before they did something more to hurt you.

"I'd recommend agreeing for more reasons besides her safety. Unless you want Dabi to test some more of my serums on you both. I've dabbled with the last one he gave you and you might just end up killing her the next time he uses them." Katsuki could hear the sinister grin in this fuckers voice and it was taking everything within him to keep his cool. "Now are you ready to here that proposition?"

"Do I have a fucking choice?" Kat muttered, glaring at the man still hidden away.

"Not really," he spoke honestly. "I need you to get some of my items that have been confiscated by the police. They'll be in evidence locker 73 at the large police station downtown. I would have picked them up myself, but I don't really have access to all of that."

"And you think I do?"

"You have a better chance than I do," he remarked. "And if you agree, I promise the experiments Dabi wanted to run on your wife will come to an end." As if on cue another shriek echoed through the bunker. Katsuki's eyes squeezed shut wishing to put an end to the pain they were causing, but there was only one way to do that.

"Fine, I'll do whatever you want," Kat conceded. "Just... don't touch her."

"Deal. The boys will be here to pick you up shortly." With that the man turned on his heels and headed down the hallway and out through a large beat up looking door.

You let out a sigh of relief, only a bit longer and this would come to an end. The doctor should be talking with Kat now and it was only a matter of minutes before he'd come back here and stop this torture. You didn't have the luxury of waking up in a cell like Katsuki. It had felt like hours ago, but it had only been less than thirty minutes that this all had begun. You were pushed into consciousness by another one of their tests. This serum felt like a flameless fire scorching through your veins, the heat licking at your skin so badly that it wouldn't surprise you if you found blistering burns in its wake.
