"Like what you see?" the smirk on your face growing wider. He expression darkened at your words, but before he could yell at you, Fujimoto spoke up.

"Here you go sir," he handed the bottle of pills to Bakugou.

His anger filled eyes left you as he looked at the bottle shoved in his face. He grumbled, what you only assumed was a thanks, grabbing them and storming out of the room.

"I don't understand how you put up with him," you shook your head in disbelief as you turned to face Fujimoto.

His emerald like eyes looked soft as he laughed, "I told you he's really not that bad. He's just got a temper, but once you get past that he's a pretty nice guy."

Squinting, you raised an eyebrow, "I really don't believe you. I mean do you not notice the way he treats you? You're like his little errand boy," you huffed as you took a seat at the table towards the back of the room.

"Well I am his sidekick," he pointed out as he took the seat across from you.

"That doesn't mean he gets to treat you like some assistant. You're a sidekick, with a damn good quirk. You should have a better sense of self-worth."

He only sighed, rubbing the back of his neck, avoiding eye contact.

"You know I'm right," your voice hard, trying to get him to see what you were saying.

Figuring he'd probably heard this enough and that there was no use in beating a dead horse, you changed the subject. The rest of your lunch break continued without another mention of Bakugou. But even though you didn't bring him up, that didn't mean your thoughts were free of him. He was an asshole that was a known fact, but you couldn't help but think about the way he'd looked at you. Your weak primal human side had definitely noticed the way his eyes had scrutinized you.

Stop it.

You shouldn't have been wasting time on thoughts like that. Never in a million years would something like that happen between the two of you and you couldn't let it unless you wanted to lose your job. Closing your eyes, a moment, you took a deep breath, clearing your head.

Lunch had been a nice break, but the second you reached your office you went right back to work. Filtering through your papers once again. The chief had set up another meeting with the agency for Wednesday. Meaning all the information that had been gathered so far had to be put together and organized. The sun filled your office with light, slowly turning into a deep orange color as it slowly moved down, setting for the day. You honestly hadn't realized how much time had passed as you typed, highlighted, and crossed things out.

Fujimoto once again knocked at your door. Opening it slowly only to find you buried beneath your notes.

"What are you still doing here? You know you could have left an hour ago?" a smile on his face as he watched you search through your papers, trying to find a particular one you wanted. "Maybe you should work on staying organized," he laughed.

You gave him a look that let him know you didn't find his words funny, "I'm almost done, just have a few things to look through. Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes."

"Alright, well I'm headed out. See you tomorrow," he waved, moving to close your door.

"See you," you nodded, your eyes not leaving the paper in front of you.

Orion's work ethic must have been rubbing off on you because it ended up taking you an additional hour to your 30-minute estimate to finish your work. You stood up, stretching your arms up before you grabbed the file and headed towards the now ominous double doors across the office. Walking in the lights were off and with the sun nearly gone, the room looked eerie. You hurriedly made your way to the desk, dropping the file you swiftly turned to leave, only walking face first into a hard chest.
