Storybrooke
The next morning, we all hopped into Emma's yellow buggy. Emma and Hook were in the front seat while Henry, Peter and I squeezed in the back which was a tight space. This is going to be a long car ride. Peter put his arm around me so I'd be more comfortable. I smiled. I could see Henry staring us with a funny expression.
"Are you guys dating?" Henry blurted which made Emma chuckled and Hook shook his head. I ignored him and closed my eyes. We arrived in Storybrooke sooner than I expected even though it was dark. I looked out the window and saw the familiar clocktower. Everything was there, not destroyed like I thought it was. We got out of the car and I stared around with astonishment.
"How is this even possible?" Emma asked. I looked back at the car to see Henry asleep.
"Says the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming," Hook rolled his eyes. Emma playfully glared at him.
"I have to go find my parents," Emma said and she ran off. Hook followed her. I decided to stay with Henry. I turned to Peter.
"I feel bad about lying to Emma. Damn, the real world has weakened me," I cringed and Peter laughed.
"You're fine. We should wake Henry up and bring him to Emma," I nodded went into the car to wake up Henry. I tapped his shoulder. He awakened and I told that we were meeting Emma. He nodded and we went to Mary Margaret and David's apartment. I assumed they were there. Emma put Henry to sleep and we caught up with each other. I turned to Emma and pulled her aside.
"I think Peter and I are going to head out," I told her and she shook her head.
"You should stay here. It'll be safer," Emma pushed which made me roll my eyes.
"Emma, I can protect myself. I'm a big girl, remember? Besides, Neverland was probably worse than this place," I shrugged, but she wasn't convinced.
"Fine, but be careful," Emma warned and I smirked.
"I always am," I cheekily said, grabbing Peter's hand and walking out.
Next Day
I looked down at Peter from our bed in Granny's bed and breakfast, smiling. I got out of bed and stretched. I sighed and started to get dressed in something different. After I was done, I got a note out and started to write something to Peter.
Dear Peter,
I have gone out to take a walk in the woods to explore. I should be back in an hour.
Love, Riley :)
I headed out of the door and to the woods. It was cold out and snow fell onto my body. I adjusted my coat and snuggled into it as I walked. I heard some laughter in the distance and decided to check it out. I walked up the hill and saw a group of men. One of them looked familiar. I knew him to be Robin Hood. I remembered his wanted poster. I saw that they were looking at me. I was caught.
"Hello," Robin Hood spoke up, walking towards me.
"I didn't know I was going to be the infamous bandit today," I smiled which made him laugh.
"You know me, but I don't know you. What is your name?" Robin asked.
"Riley. I'm sort of new to this land," I sheepishly laughed and he put his hand on my shoulder.
"So are we. Come, you can observe how bad Little John's aim is," He led me towards the group and we got acquainted. Little John held a crossbow and they all looked at it, curiously.
