Enchanted Forest

We walked along a path through the Enchanted Forest as we made our journey to Rumpelstiltskin's castle. The sound of horses caught my attention and I tapped my father on the shoulder. He turned around and looked behind us.

"It could be the Queen again," I assumed. I squinted my eyes to see farther down the path. A carriage was coming towards us. I dashed towards the side of the trail with the others following my lead. I crouched behind a fallen tree like the one that was across the path only a few feet away from us. The carriage halted in front of the fallen tree that was on the path. I saw the door open and a man stepped out. That man was David or in this world, he's known as Prince Charming.

"Worry not, it's nothing, but a fallen tree," Charming announced to everyone. A smile appeared on Emma's face as she watched her father.

"Is that?" She quietly gasped.

"Your father," Hook finished for her.

"We should go," I suggested, getting up. Emma's smile only grew. She looked up in the tree next to us to see a figure resting on a branch. Snow White. This is where Snow and Charming meet in their story. I watched as Charming made his way over to the tree on the path. He went to the bottom of it and examined it. His eyes widened, suddenly.

"It's an ambush! We need to get on the move now!" He yelled, pulling out his sword along with the guards. I heard a branch snap and realized it was Emma. Snow turned and looked down at us. She was shocked. She lost her balance and fell down from the branch she was on. She looked at us one last time before running away. Oh no. Charming rushed over to the carriage and relief spread across his face. He climbed back in and the guards moved the tree out of the way. They hopped back on the carriage and rode off down the trail. I stood up and glared at Emma, intensively.

"Remember that thing he said about small changes having consequences?" I pointed to my father and Emma gave me an apologetic look. Hook looked over at Emma and he looked surprised.

"What's going on?" Peter asked, standing up.

"That bandit in the tree was Snow White," I explained and Peter sighed in frustration.

"This was the moment my parents first met," Emma reminded us.

"And because of us, they didn't," Hook added.

"Us? No, not us," I corrected him. "It was Emma," I walked out of the bushes and trees and back onto the path. I headed down it, angry.

"Riley! Wait up!" Peter called for me and I stopped in my tracks, looking straight ahead. Peter caught up with me. He rubbed my arms and looked into my eyes.

"What's wrong?" He asked, sincerely.

"I just want to go home," I whispered, looking away from him and at the ground.

"Hey," He lifted my chin and made me look at him. "We will make it home. I promise," I smiled at him and nodded. He kissed my forehead and held my hand, intersecting our fingers. We soon approached the Dark One's castle. It was about a mile away, but had a good view of it on top of a hill.

"So what do we now? Knock on the door and introduce ourselves?" Emma joked, rolling her eyes. Chill with the attitude. "Hey! We're from the future!"

"It'd be best if I stayed back," Hook told us, stepping back a little bit.

"I second that!" Peter spoke.

"I'm with them on this," I agreed. "Go on, Emma."

"Why you? I mean, I get them, but why you?" Emma exclaimed.

"Simple. I tried to steal his dagger. He doesn't want to see me," I explained, going over to a huge rock and sitting down on it.

"And you survived?" Emma was baffled.

"Why are you so surprised?" I shrugged with a smirk. "We all have something, but you don't, so therefore, you're the right candidate to go into the castle. How could you possibly have something on yourself?"

"Oh, I'll take that bet," A voice boomed and we all whipped around to see none other than the Dark One himself. "I'll be the judge of that," He cackled and giggled. "I can't tell you how long I've waited for this! Oops! I suppose I just did," He teased. He whipped his hand and Hook began to gag. Hook's hand flew up to his throat as he held it, gasping for help. I felt my body freeze up and I couldn't move.

"S-swan!" Hook choked out.

"Stop!" Emma yelled at Rumpelstiltskin.

"You two are next," Rumple pointed at Peter and I.

"You have to stop!" Emma repeated and he rolled his eyes.

"I don't know who you are dearie, but I suggest you get out of here and let me enjoy my killings in peace," Rumple warned, concentrating on Hook.

"He's not going to hurt you just listen to me," Emma begged, almost to point where she had to get down on her knees.

"And why would I listen to you?" Rumple growled, gritting his teeth.

"Because if you don't, you'll never see your son again," Emma yelled which caught his attention. He released Hook. Hook fell to the ground and coughed, trying to catch his breath. I was unfrozen and I rushed over to my father, helping him to my feet.

"What do you know of my son?" Rumpelstiltskin hissed, pointing his finger at Emma.

"His name is Baelfire. You are planning on enacting a curse in hope of reuniting with him," Emma spat out all of her knowledge about Bae.

"And who told you that? What are you?" Rumpelstiltskin started to back away from Emma. "Some kind of witch?"

"No, I'm not a witch. I'm the one who breaks it so you can find him," Emma confessed. She slumped her shoulders and thought for a second before sighing in defeat. "I'm the product of true love," Rumple was shocked by this.

"That's speculation. Part of my plans," Rumple scoffed. Emma gave him a look. "But I haven't done it!"

"You will and you will succeed," I spoke.

"If that's true, then that means-"

"We're from the future, mate," Hook cut off Rumpelstiltskin. Rumple turned to Hook in annoyance.

"But time travel hasn't been done, mate!" Rumple hissed, mocking Hook.

"Well, someone has cracked that code," Peter mumbled under his breath.

"We need your help," Emma begged and Rumple scoffed.

"Help?" He giggled. "You need my help? Then answer me one question: Do I find my son?" Emma hesitated for a minute. "Answer me!"

"Yes," Emma coughed out, scared.

"Bae," The Dark One breathed out in pleasure. "I find Bae. How?" Emma was about to open her mouth, but Rumple stopped her. "Don't tell me! If I succeed, I don't want anything in my head to throw it off."

"It might already kind of be thrown off," Emma winced and Rumple's face went stiff.

"You've changed things!" He shouted. "What have you done?!"

"We interrupted my parents meeting," Emma only said.
