Storybrooke

I got up the next morning with a great deal of heartbreak from the day before. Zelena wasn't up yet which I was thankful for. I didn't want to deal with her this early in the morning. I entered the farmhouse and got out a griddle along with the ingredients to make pancakes for her. I needed to get on her good side. As I was mixing the batter, a knocking sound was heard some the other side of the house. I looked behind my shoulder real quick and it stopped. I shrugged it off and continued to make breakfast until I heard it, repeatedly. It sounded like someone was trying to break out of somewhere and I wasn't surprised. I mean, this is Zelena's house/coven. I reached up in one of the cabinets and grabbed a frying pan, holding it in my grip, tight. I made my way over to the other side of the house with it held high. I stopped when I saw a door shaking back and forth. I slowly made my approached to the door and stopped, reaching my empty hand out. My fingers curled around the doorknob and I twisted it. It flew open and I was sent, flying in the air. I hit a wall and groaned at the pain that shot through my back. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked up. Flying monkeys. They were all stuffed in cages, but most of them were asleep expect a few which were in a cage together. I got up and closed the door, quickly. I successfully made it to the kitchen, quietly and continued to make breakfast. Zelena woke up after I was done and I set the pancakes on the table for her to eat along with some butter and syrup. By the look on her face, I didn't fail at making pancakes.

"I need you to do me a favor," She spoke up after she swallow a bite of her pancake. It's not a favor if you're making me do it. I stayed silent until she said the next part of her command. "I need you to go into town and curse your father,"

"You're not serious?" I started to laugh, hysterically. She shook her head back and forth. My face hardened with anger. "What the hell? No."

"Excuse me?" She snapped and I rolled my eyes.

"I will not do that," I repeated, balling my fists. She stood up from her chair and started to walk towards me. I backed away from her, not making eye contact.

"Do you remember our little deal?" She began and I stayed silent. "You do as I say and your lost boy doesn't get killed along with the rest of your little family. Am I clear?!" I nodded, afraid of her wrath. I was ashamed. I'm not usually like this. "You'll curse the lips of your father because he has fallen for Emma Swan. If he kisses her, then her magic will be taken from her. That is what I need. I don't want any light magic in the way of my plan," I looked down at the ground, but noticed something old. Zelena had something balled up in her fist. She lifted her hand and blew something in my face. I felt dizzy for a moment, but I regained my balance a few moments later. A mirror appeared in her hand and she handed it to me. I looked in it and saw that I had been transformed into Ariel. "You are going to go into town, begging for help to find Prince Eric. When Hook offers his assistance, you will search and search with him until nothing turns up. You will start a fight and when he confesses his love for Emma," She grabbed my hand and put a pouch in my hand. "You will blow this dust in his face. It will collect on his lips and he will be cursed. If you don't do this task, everyone in this town is going to die and I will make it your fault," Some sister, am I right? I flashed out of the house and appeared on the beach where I would sit until someone would find me. It wasn't until too long until some men and women crowded around me, asking if I needed help. One of them gave me a blanket that I wrapped around myself because it was cold as hell out here. Thanks Zelena for putting me in this outfit. The crowd parted and none other than Mary Margaret and David came to the rescue. Mary Margaret's eyes grew at me.

"Ariel!" She gasped and I looked up at her. This is going to be hard. "Where have you been? We thought you were turned into a monkey!"

"A monkey!" I fake gasped. "No, I'm a girl that turns into a fish." God, I'm pathetic.

"Yeah, we know," Charming piped up with a worried expression. "But what happened to you?"

"I've been under the sea, searching. I've traveled to every known realm, looking for Prince Eric," I lied through my teeth.

"So, he's missing? For how long?" Charming asked again.

"After, Pan failed, " Ouch, sorry Peter. "I woke up here like everyone else. I can't him and I didn't understand what happened until I overheard everyone saying we all gone to the Enchanted Forest and been there for a year without knowing," That was confusing to say.

"So you still don't know what happened to him," David assumed and I nodded.

"That's why I came back here. Maybe if I missed something, he'd be here, but obviously, you haven't seen him," My face fell in sadness.

"I'm sorry. We've been trying to piece everything together so we can figure out what happened. All we know is that we're up against the Wicked Witch of the West, Riley's sister, but unfortunately she captured Riley. I feel bad for her boyfriend, Peter," Mary Margaret explained, sadly. That was the moment I wanted to break my silence and tell them that it was me, but I knew Zelena was watching from a distance, probably grading my performance. I wanted Peter.

"Do you think that she might be responsible for Prince Eric's disappearance?" I wandered.

"Without our memories, it's impossible to remember everything," Mary Margaret told me.

"Maybe for us, but what about Hook?" David suggested, his face lighting up with an idea. Yes, David! Take me to my dear, old Dad so, I can curse against my will while betraying everyone I know in the process!

"The pirate?" I asked.

"Yes! He wasn't apart of the witch's curse. He has his memory. Maybe, he could shed some light on what happened to Eric," Mary Margaret exclaimed.

"Do you think he'll help me?" I beamed and Mary Margaret smiled, widely.

"He helped us save Henry. I don't see why not," Mary Margaret said. I fake smiled. Time to trick Dad! I stood up and followed them into town. Before we exited the beach though, I looked behind my shoulder to see Zelena with an evil smirk on her face. I nodded, signaling that I was in. Her smirk grew bigger.
