Dream World: Neverland
A branch crunched under my combat boot as I trudged through the jungle of Neverland with my sword gripped, tightly in my hand. I was prepared for any sort of attack. I edged my way towards the beach, looking out at the crystal blue water. Something caught my eye. An oncoming ship sailed off in the distance.
"Land ho!" I heard a man shout and I sprung up in surprise, taking off back to camp. I dodged trees, hopping over brush that was in my way, pushing huge leaves aside.
"Girls!" I shouted, coming into camp. All of them turned to me. I was out of breath, but there was no time to catch it. "Get your weapons ready! There's a ship coming onto the shore and we need to be there to stop it," I reached into my scabbard and unleashed my sword, pointing it in the air. "Let's have some fun with these scumbags!" They all cheered, grabbing their weapons and rushing out of camp. "Grab the boats!" I instructed. We ventured into the jungle, some girls carrying row boats and other with their weapons prepared. We piled into the boats and rowed out to the ship. I looked up at the ship, remembering the fatal memories that haunted my mind. I shook them off and saw a rope hanging down to the boats we were in. I smirked. Dumb bastards. We anchored and I started to climb up the rope. I got to the deck, pulling myself up. The crew didn't even notice me. I instructed the girls to hide on the deck where there was cover. My eyes wandered to the upper deck where a man stood tall. The Captain. I knew his name. Captain James Blacksmithson. "My! What a crew!" I exclaimed. They flocked their attention to me. The crew threw their weapons out and pointed them at me. Blacksmithson eyed me as he made his way down to the main deck, pushing through the crew.
"Identify yourself, girl," He commanded in a raspy, grimacing voice. I smirked, bowing before him.
"Riley Jones," I introduced. "I live here on the island that you've come across. Now, answer me this. Why are you here?"
"Captain James Blacksmithson," He told me even though I already knew. "This is my crew," He ignored my question completely which made me hate him even more.
"That's a mouth full if you tell me," I scoffed with a chuckle. "That doesn't answer my question though. Why are you here?" He reached into his jacket and pulled out a parchment, holding it up to my face.
"By the order of the Queen, this land belongs to our kingdom," He declared. I grabbed the paper from him and scanned it. After reading it, I started to laugh, hysterically. "What's so funny?"
"You're so stupid," I spat. "There's no queens here. Not even kings, just little old me," I snarled, ripping the parchment in half. My hand clawed and a fire arose in it, burning the paper.
"A witch!" One of the crew members shouted and I smirked.
"That's hilarious," Blacksmithson rolled his eyes. He turned around to his first mate. "Prepare to make a landing."
"Before you do though, I'd like to offer a piece of advice," I spoke up, calling to the first mate. "You won't survive here. None of you."
"And why's that?" Blacksmithson growled and I smirked.
"You'll be dead before you even get on shore," I snickered which made them confused. I brought my fingers to my lips and I let a whistle ring. My Lost Girls came rushing out, screaming with their weapons whipped out. I pulled my sword out as well. They all stood behind me. The crew started to laugh.
"Are you kidding me?" Blacksmithson laughed along with the crew. "They're girls!"
"Girls," I mocked, stepping forward and approaching him. "These aren't just girls. I've searched all the realms for strong fighters like my Lost Girls. You haven't fought shit until you've fought my girls," I laughed. "I bet these girls have killed more men than you've ever killed in a lifetime," He just gave me a dull stare. "Now," I spoke and the girls charged at the men. The battle was on! Blacksmithson looked back at his men before raising his sword at me. I blocked it and stumbled backwards, blocking every attempt he threw at me. "Come on, ya pansy! You can do better than that!" He swung at me again. Our swords collided and I rose my foot, kicking his stomach which sent him to the deck floor. "You lack everything a soldier should have. Why did your queen ever choose such a-?" I stepped closer and put my sword under his chin, lifting it. "A codfish," I finished. I held my hand out and his eyes bulged out of his head. He rose in the air, dropping his sword. I was killing him. "Now, why don't you turn this ship around and never come back?" I dropped him and he came crashing on the ground. He nodded, frightened. I put my fingers to my mouth, whistling again. The girls stopped and I turned to the captain. "And remember, I'm always watching," I turned to the girls. "Let's go," I smiled and we went back to camp, never seeing those bastards again.
