Enchanted Forest

We ran through the trees, Emma ahead of us. My legs ached and I spotted the Troll Bridge, identical to the Toll Bridge in Storybrooke. Nice touch, Regina. We all stopped in our tracks to see Charming getting beaten by trolls, but he seems to be fighting back. Suddenly, he is trapped in a corner of the bridge. One of the trolls grabbed his sword and put it up to Charming's throat.

"Hey!" A voice erupted from the distance. On the other side of the bridge stood Snow White. Her fist was clenched, holding something. The trolls started to laugh at her. "Drop the sword or I will turn you all into bugs," She threatened. The troll's eyes went over to Snow's hand. "Dark Fairy Dust. So you let him go, or I will be peeling you all off the bottom of my boots," The troll dropped his sword out of his hand and backed away from the prince.

"We don't want any trouble," He warned her and she nodded with a smile.

"Good and while you're at it, give me a reason to forget this ever happened," Snow hinted and the trolls pleased her by putting some gold coins out on the bridge, backing away and disappearing under the bridge. Charming got up, baffled by Snow White's actions. They walked to the other side of the bridge, stopping at the end of the trail. We followed him and hid in the bushes. Hook set down the unconscious woman on the forest floor.

"You saved me," He breathed and she shrugged.

"It was the honorable thing to do," She mimicked what Charming said to her hours ago. They stared at each other for a few minutes until Snow spoke up. "Well, we need to get you back to the castle. Wouldn't want to disappoint your fiance," She reached into her pocket and gave Charming the ring she stole. "It's pretty."

"I thought it wasn't your type?" Charming teased and Snow took the ring back, slipping it on her finger. She held her hand up and stared at it. Her eyes went to Charming's. He was completely memorized.

"You're right," She said, taking the ring off and plopping it in his hand. "Not my type," They were falling for each other, no doubt about it. I looked up at Peter with a smile. Our engagement. I looked over at my father who was paying attention to Snow and Charming. What was I supposed to say to him? My thoughts ran deeper in my mind.

"Riley," Peter brought me out of my thoughts. "We have to go back to the Dark One's castle," I nodded and got up. Emma and Hook were talking and walking ahead of us. I kept my eyes on the ground. "What's wrong?" My head shot up and my eyes met Peter's.

"Oh, nothing," I fake smiled, but he didn't buy it.

"Really," He pressed and I sighed.

"We're getting married," I exclaimed, quietly. "But then again, my father."

"Whatever happens, we will be together. I promise that," I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him, tightly.

"I love you," My voice cracked and his arms tightened around me.

"I know," He whispered in my ear. We walked a ways until we got to the castle. Emma practically burst through the doors, overjoyed about reuniting her parents.

"We did it!" She exclaimed. Rumpelstiltskin was sat at his table in the throne room, mixing some potions.

"Your parents are together?" He asked, double checking and Emma nodded.

"They're back on track. We're ready to go," She grinned.

"I see and you brought some luggage," The Dark One pointed to the woman who we kidnapped that was rested over Hook's shoulder.

"Long story," Emma pushed away, not wanting to get into details. "So, how's the portal coming? Did you open it?"

"I can not," Rumple smiled, saying it like it wasn't a big deal and returning to his business. My face hardened with anger while Emma's softened with sadness.

"Th-then what are you working on?" Emma stuttered.

"Well, this is for me!" He quipped, waving his hands around. "A forgetting potion," He presented. My mouth hung open in disbelief. "I know too much about my future and the only way to protect it is to forget."

"But you said you have this wand! You said that it could help us!" Emma yelled at him.

"Well, it apparently only works for those who used the portal. You can only reopen it," He raised his voice, getting to her level. We all looked at each other in anger. "So if you have no magic, I'm afraid you're going nowhere," He smiled. He grabbed the wand and tossed it to Emma who caught it. "Well, can ya?" Emma just stared down at it. Rumpelstiltskin was clearly amused.

"That's it!" I yelled, clenching my fist. I crawled my hand, hoping a fireball would form, but it didn't. I stared at my hand. I tried again, but no magic. "You little imp!" I mumbled, my eyes darting to the Dark One. "You're a coward. No wonder Bae left you."

"Don't speak about my son," He hissed, gritting his teeth together. "You know nothing."

"I know plenty. He'd be ashamed of the coward you've turned into. He wouldn't want to be around this, this-" I paused, anger fueling my hate. "This beast!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "If you expect us to stay here, you got another thing coming to you. You won't protect your future."

"That's exactly what I'm doing, dearie," He snapped. Hook's eyes widened and he unleashed his sword.

"He's going to kill us," Hook yelled, pointing his sword at Rumple.

"I mean to put you someplace safe. Someplace even I dare not to go," The Dark One explained. "Where I store the magic that is too dark or unpredictable for me."

"Rumpelstiltsk-" Emma called for him, but everything turned to darkness.
