Enchanted Forest
In the morning, we said our goodbyes to Red and we were off along with Snow and Charming.
"Perhaps, I should thank you," Snow said to Charming, looking up at him. Emma and Hook smiled at each other. "You saved me," Charming stared down at Snow and smiled a few moments later.
"It was the honorbale thing to do," He spoke up and they both smiled at each other. Snow's eyes went to Charming's canteen and she held her hand out.
"I'm going to the stream for some water. I can fill your canteen if you like," She offered and Charming gladly took it, reaching down and untying his canteen from his satchel. He handed it to her, thanking her. She nodded before heading down to the stream.
"They're warming up to each other," Emma pointed out, watching Charming. "This is good. This will work."
"That may be Swan, but we have another problem," Hook pointed out, his eyes going in the direction of the woman Emma rescued earlier. I rolled my eyes in frustration.
"Well, I had to save her!" Emma exclaimed in defense and I shook my head.
"What you did was noble, yes, but she's supposed to be dead. Gone from existence. Her presence in the Enchanted Forest can have unforeseen consequences," I explained and Emma didn't seem to get what I was saying.
"She's just a sweet, innocent woman," Emma argued and I laughed. "What is that?"
"Let's say she had a child. What if that child grew up to be a mass murderer?" I started, listing off theories. "Or she gets tipsy some night at a tavern and rides a horse right over one of the dwarves, leaving only six left. The possibilities are endless. It's best not to find out because she doesn't belong here. Grow up and move on," I finished in a fit of anger.
"That's rich coming from you," Emma scoffed. "Besides, I have a plan," She smiled and I crossed my arms over my chest. "Take her with us," My eyes widened.
"No way," I protested and Emma gasped in disbelief.
"Why not?!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air.
"She could go running back to her family in Storybrooke and ruin the present," I growled. "She could be a witch!" I reached down to my sword in my scabbard and gripped the held, pulling it out. "I'll just kill her myself," I began to march towards the woman, but Emma and Hook grabbed my arms, pulling me back. I squirmed in their grips, glancing at Peter who was very quiet. I gave him pleading eyes, but he didn't do anything except smile at me, teasingly. "What?! Just let me kill her and our problem is solved. It's not like killing people is new to me," I pulled out their grip and yanked myself free. "Ask Peter," They all looked at Peter.
"It's true. She killed 5 Lost Boys in a span of a day one time," Peter explained, walking over to me and wrapping an arm around my waist. I smiled, proudly.
"Well, I'm not going to let you kill her. She didn't do anything wrong," Emma hissed and I rolled my eyes.
"You're going to regret it," I warned and Emma ignored me, walking over to the woman. She started to explain everything which sent the woman in confusion.
"The future?" The woman asked, backing away from us. Emma nodded.
"You can't stay here. You were supposed to die hours ago," Emma confessed and I scoffed.
"You should've died a few minutes ago if they let me have you," I mumbled under my breath, making Hook glare at me.
"I don't understand. I just want to get back to my family," The woman pleaded, going toward the forest.
"Easy kill," I laughed to myself.
"And they need to believe that you're dead because that's what they always thought," Hook tried explained, but she didn't listen.
"Trust us," Emma pleaded.
"With all due respect, but I don't trust you," The woman tried to say. She continued to rambled on with Emma, Hook and Peter just listening. I snuck behind them, picking a log up. I rose it over my head and swung at the back of the woman's head, knocking her to the ground.
"What the hell, Riley?!" Emma yelled at me. The log fell from my grip and I smiled.
"She was going to escape," I pointed out. "If I had killed her, we would be on our way home."
"Is she dead?" Peter asked, looking down. The woman stirred, opening her eyes.
"She's waking up!" I exclaimed. Emma picked up the same log and whacked her again, leaving the woman to slip into a cold sleep.
"What happened to her?" Charming came over to us, looking down at the woman.
"She's uh-" Emma thought. "Resting. What's up?"
"Have either one of you guys seen Snow? She went to the stream, but she-" Charming paused to think. He felt around his suit for something and his eyes widened. "The ring! She took it!" He took off running down the trail.
"Oh no," Emma whispered, watching Charming runoff.
"What?" I asked, looking at her confused. Emma launched forward, but Hook caught her.
"Swan, wait!" Hook rushed. "The bridge, isn't that where you wanted them to go? Isn't that the place where Snow saved your father from the trolls?"
"Yes, but the only reason she was able to do so is because she had weapon," Emma hinted and my bood ran cold.
"The dust," I finished for her and she nodded before taking off.
"Bloody hell," Hook cursed. We ran after her, following her down the trail to the troll bridge.
