Enchanted Forest
We walked through the Enchanted Forest, exhausted. We came across a trail and started to walk alongside it. Soon enough, we heard trotting coming down the trail. I looked behind my shoulder to see a black carriage I knew all too well.
"Black Knights!" I warned them and we hurried to the bushes. We concealed ourselves in the bushes as we walked the carriage go by. It stopped in front of a village where all of its people lined up. The door swung open and a figure appeared in a feathered back fedora and a red and black dress.
"Regina," Emma breathed in a whisper. Hook looked at her and shook his head.
"Not Regina, the Evil Queen," Hook corrected her. Regina stepped onto the gravel and walked towards the lined up people.
"If anyone has information leading to Snow White, I will find out and this will happen," Regina shouted at the villagers. She grabbed a woman from her carriage. The woman was bonded by ropes tied around her wrists.
"Help me! She's gonna kill me!" The woman screamed, but the villagers stayed silent. The Black Knights grabbed the woman and shoved her back into the carriage. I scanned the village people and saw that I recognized some of them. Emma tried to charge out of the bushes towards Regina, but Hook held her back.
"That's not a good idea," Hook warned Emma and anger filled her eyes.
"Why not?" She argued.
"If you do anything, it could change what happens in the present time back in Storybrooke," I explained and Hook agreed. "If we don't interfere with anything, we have a better chance of getting back to the present."
"We need to find Rumpelstiltskin," Emma suggested, looking at all of us. Peter's eyes widened.
"What? Why?" He exclaimed and whispered at the same time.
"Look, I know he's your son, but we need help from a wizard," Emma urged. Peter scoffed and glared at Emma before looking back at Regina. I leaned into him and put my head on his shoulder.
"It's going to be okay," I reassured him. Peter smiled down at me, warmly.
"The sooner we get out of here, the better," Emma said, getting up. Hook grabbed her arm and dragged her back down to the ground.
"I agree, but there's one thing we need to do first," He pointed towards a line of clothes that were hanging on the line. He got up and grabbed a dress, throwing it to Emma. Emma mumbled something under her breath before going under a tree. I snapped my fingers and a green cloud surrounded me. I soon back in my old Neverland clothes. I smiled down at them. Peter was still in his clothing, but he flashed out of the area, but reappeared back in his old clothing. I smirked at him. "Come on, Swan. Let's get a look," Hook whined, growing impatient. She came trudging out from behind a tree with a dress and a brown cloak around her. "Awe!" Hook exclaimed, smirking. "That's much better."
"Is this necessary?" Emma rolled her eyes.
"What have you done if Regina spotted you back there?" He retorted.
"My guess, run," Emma snapped, smoothing out her dress.
"Even if you had, she'd seen you and probably would've remembered you when you arrived in Storybrooke," Peter argued.
"She's gonna remember a glimpse of a face thirty years from now?" She scoffed.
"The point is not to make a lasting impression. Sadly, red leather jackets don't come into vogue like ever!" I explained.
"Fine, but the only lasting impression I'm worried about right now is the one this corset is making on my spleen," Emma winced as she tried to readjust the dress.
"Your discomfort is a cross I'm willing to pay," Hook rose his eyebrow, checking Emma out which made me scoff and roll my eyes. I slapped his shoulder and chuckled. Hook walked forward and grabbed a hold onto Emma's cloak hood, pulling it over her head. "Well it's nothing compared to what will affect the timeline, which means proceeding with caution," Emma smiled, shyly at him. "You're not from the world of magic, but I am. Even the smallest change could have catastrophic consequences. Things must happen as they always did," Hook finished explaining. I grabbed Peter's hand and rested my head on his shoulder. Hook and Emma walked onto the trail and we followed them.
