Enchanted Forest
I blinked my eyes open to see that we were a huge room with hundreds of doors. I got up on my feet and twirled around, examining my surroundings. Rows or doors and ladders. I stopped when I came to a mirror. I was back in my Storybrooke clothing.
"No," Emma whined, quietly. Hook set the woman down on a table and he walked around the room. He stopped in front of the mirror I was looking in, smirking at himself.
"Well, at least he did us a favor," He pointed out. He turned around and faced Emma. "I'm devilishly handsome again," I rolled my eyes and walked to Peter. He was looking at the magical items. My eyes went to a golden urn. I reached forward to pick it up.
"Whoa, whoa!" Emma screamed, causing me to stop. "Don't touch anything! There's a reason why Rumpelstiltskin is afraid of this stuff," I looked back at the urn and grabbed Peter's hand, dragging away from the junk.
"I was just trying to help us find a way out of here," I snapped.
"I don't think there is one," Peter's voice echoed as he spoke. Emma kept trying to work the wand, waving it around.
"Emma," I said to her, but she didn't hear me. "Emma," I tried again, nothing. "Emma!" Her head shot up and she looked at me. "There's no point of getting out of here. We don't any magic," I walked over to her and picked up the wand, trying to work it. "See," I put it back in her hand.
"Peter!" She exclaimed. "What about you?" She shoved it in his hands. He gripped it and closed his eyes. Nothing happened.
"I can't open it," He sadly said, giving the wand back. "I'm sorry, Emma."
"We're stuck here," I sighed and walked over to a chair, sitting down.
"No, we're not," Hook spoke up, an idea forming in his head. "When Zelena died, all her spells were undone. Your powers should have been restored," Hook explained. "Emma, you're the savior."
"If I could make it work, I would. You think I'm faking it?" Emma argued.
"I think having no magic making it a hell of alot easier to run back to New York and pretend to be someone else. Well listen to me, Swan. You're not! It's time to stop running," Hook yelled at her, making me uncomfortable as Peter and I watched them fight.
"You think I don't know that?!" She shouted. "Yes, I run away. That's how I always survived, but believe me, I want this to work. I want to go back. I want to stop running," Emma finished. Hook just stared her for a few seconds. Tears rolled down Emma's cheeks.
"What changed your mind?" Hook softly asked.
"Watching my mother die, thinking she was dead," Emma whispered, her eyes going to the ground. "You saw what happened. I was so relieved when she was okay. I hugged her and you what I saw in her eyes. Nothing. She didn't know who I was. I saved her and lost her too," Emma cried. Unlike Emma, I knew what it was like to lose a mother. Her death was still fresh in my mind even if it happened decades ago. "And I've been doing the same to her since I met her. It's gotta stop!" She exclaimed, her voice shaking. "When Henry brought me to Storybrooke and told me I was the savior, I didn't see what he was really doing. He wasn't bringing me back to break a curse, he was bringing me home," She smiled at that last part. Hook smiled back. "Neal was right."
"About what?" Hook answered, softly.
"You don't have a home until you just miss it," She quoted. "Being with my parents the last few days, but not really being with them? I've never missed them more. Storybrooke. That's my home," Hook gave Emma a smile which confused her. "What?"
"Look down," He told her and she did exactly that. The wand was glowing, glimmering in her hand. "I'd say you've got your magic back. Now shall we go?" He smiled, going over and picking up the woman. Emma lifted the wand up and magic shot out of it. A portal started to form. I got up from the chair.
"Well done, Emma," I told her, staring at the portal. Hook pushed past us and jumped through the portal. I gently grabbed Peter's hand and we jumped in the portal. Peter's my home.
