Katsuki could be seen clear as day, but this time his surroundings remained blurred. You hadn't a clue where you were, his apartment maybe? He had a look of contentment as he gazed at whoever was in the room with him. His eyes slightly glossy, almost mesmerized with the person before him, but you couldn't get a good enough look at who it was. Katsuki's lips were moving, but no sound came out and as you tried to figure out what he was saying he suddenly pulled out a black box, sinking down to one knee.
Before you could really understand what you were witnessing, the vision faded out. Well, Katsuki was apparently going to be more than fine without you. This was more than enough and you didn't want to watch anymore, but you didn't have a choice in the matter as the space around you changed once again. This scene was filled with more people and chatter filled the air, but you couldn't be bothered to look around. Your eyes landed on Katsuki as he stood by a line of his friends and your stomach sank as it began to dawn on you. What was about to happen wasn't something you wanted to watch.
You didn't want to see anymore, you got the point and it didn't need to be rubbed in your face. Turning away, you hoped you could run and get away before you saw anything more. But you didn't get two steps before the crowd went silent and the music began to play.
Enough, this was enough.
Closing your eyes, you wished for this to end. But the small gasps you heard from the people around you was enough to get the best of your curiosity. Peeking between your eyelids you caught sight of her as she walked down the aisle towards you and she was... was this some kind of joke?
Reaching out, you tried to touch her, but she didn't move with you like a reflection should. She walked through you, totally unaware of your presence. Your future self stopped in front of Katsuki, the both of you completely enamored with the other as the ceremony began. Your vision jumped again and continued to do so, showing you snippets of the potential life you would have. Birthdays, anniversaries, you even saw what your kids could have looked like if that was something you both decided on. The visions finally pulled to a close with the two of you much older, but still totally and utterly in love with each other.
Fujimoto's apartment came back into view as you slumped into the couch again. Those were all just possibilities, the future was always subject to change. There was no point in dwelling on it. At least that's what you told yourself.
The rest of the day went by in a daze, you couldn't really focus on anything if you tried. It wasn't until Fujimoto had returned from the office and the both of you were eating dinner that you realized how much you had zoned out.
"So," Fujimoto spoke slowly, watching you as you pushed the food around on your plate. "I'm sure you already know."
"Yeah," you sighed, as the images from this morning rushed through your mind again.
He cleared his throat, unsure of how he should word what he wanted to say. "Well, I went to visit him after work and uh, he asked about you..."
"Is that so," you nodded, still staring at your food.
"Come on, you're not even going to see him?"
That snapped you out of your haze. "I already told you I was leaving. You should have told him I was already gone."
He gave you a sheepish look, "Don't get mad, but I told him you were leaving on Friday." He could barely get the last of his words out as he caught sight of your expression.
"Fujimoto, nothing you do or say is going to change my mind. You do know that, right?"
"I'm not doing this for me!" He exclaimed. Taking in a breath he focused his attention back on you, "Look, I've worked with Bakugou for a long time and I know I wasn't exactly the most supportive a week ago, but he's a better person when he's with you."
