"It wasn't a lie," you immediately defended yourself. "And what about you? You left me after promising me you wouldn't."

"You withheld some hefty information, so forgive me if I wasn't feeling so trusting," he snapped.

"I only did that, because I was trying to protect you!" The both of you were all but yelling as you tried to get your points across.

"I know! Alright, I know that now. This wasn't.." Katsuki groaned, apparently fed up with the direction this talk had gone. He pinched the bridge of his nose, taking a deep breath before he tried again. "I'm sorry, I should have trusted you. I was an idiot, a dumbass, fucking stupid. I'll say it anyway you want to hear it, just give me a chance-"

"I can't do that," you murmured, you needed to shut this down before it got too far. But the look on his face told you he wasn't giving up that easily.

"You can't or you won't?" He demanded, but what were you supposed to say. The silence settled between you again and that seemed to be enough of an answer. When Katsuki spoke again, it wasn't anything you expected to hear. "It took me a little while to figure out what was real and what was a dream. But your voice isn't so easily replicated."

He moved across the room, trapping you between himself and the table behind you. He was much closer than he should have been and you couldn't bear to let yourself look up at him.

"I know how you feel about me," he spoke in a hushed tone, making this a moment just between the two of you. "All I'm asking for is a chance. A chance for your forgiveness, a chance to make it up to you and a chance that you might stay. I'll do whatever it takes, whatever you want. I'll take you to the most expensive restaurant in the city, the country, in the fucking world."

"Katsuki," you stopped him, it was taking just about everything not to give into him. "Why does it even matter?" Your eyes finally flicked up to meet his and that was your first mistake.

"Because I want to be with you," he faltered as if he wasn't sure he should have said that, but what did he really have to lose at this point. "I have never felt this way about anyone. Ever. And I don't want to go another day where I wake up and you're not there."

You wanted to trust in every word he said, yet you couldn't help but let your eyes glaze as your quirk took over.

"Hey! Stop that," Katsuki tugged at your chin, pulling your attention away from the future you were looking for. "Don't you dare check how this is going to turn out."

Lifting your chin out of his grasp, you tried to lean away from him, "And why not? Huh?"

"I don't care if you leave me tomorrow. Or next week. Or even ten years from now. I want to spend whatever time I have with you, without worrying about it coming to an end. So don't check and just live in this moment with me."

Biting your lip, you hated how compelling he sounded. Your heart beat hard against your chest as you tried to stick by your decision, but he had this way of persuading you just a little. This by no means diminished your worries, but you were curious about what he meant.

"One date. That's all you get."

His lips met yours the second you finished talking and like a mind of their own your arms wrapped around him. You'd be a liar if you didn't say this is what you wanted from the moment you knew he was okay. He tugged at your hips, pushing you further back on to the table. You nearly lost track of where you were as his tongue ran across your lower lip, wanting to mix with yours.

"You do know this is Fujimoto's table?" You breathed, unable to pull yourself away from him.

"I'll buy him a new one," he muttered as his hands slipped under the back of your shirt, craving for the feel of your skin on his.
