Annette has just arrived to accompany Cassi and is now escorting her to one of the resting rooms as she is currently tired by all the dancing. Once they arrived it turns out that they were not alone as Clyde Icenfrost was there before them. He looks at them with cold indifference but he still greets Cassi as not only are those of the same rank but she is also the star of this banquet. So he had to give her face as he found Cassi Evernight to be less discussing the other noble females. She did not look at him with googly eyes and did not attempt to flirt with him. Of Course, that did not mean that he liked her, she was just a stranger to him. The two girls greet him as well and then Annette helps Cassi to sit down on one of the 5 couches. It was the one furthest from Clyde as she knew that Clyde did not like girls being too close to him without a valuable reason.

"Annette, can you make me some tea?"

Cassi asks politely and Annette just sighs at this.

"My lady, it is imeproiante to ask this as it is my job to serve you. Also did the master not tell you not to say my name at this ball?"

Annette says.

"Oh, I forgot. So is that yes?"

Cassi asks.

"No, that is I must do it even if I don't want to."

Annette answers bluntly.

"Wait, does that mean that you don't really want to help me?"

Cassi pouts.

"I dont know what you are talking about my lady?"

Annette says with a smile and then uses summoning magic to summon a teacup and the leaves. Then she uses water magic and fire magic to make hot water and then puts it in the cup. After that, she puts in the tea leaves and summons a spoon to stir them. Once it is done she gives it to Cassi and then walks so that she stands behind her.

Cassi drinks it and suddenly the room turns quiet. Then After 20 minutes a cry is heard from outside.

"No... don't do this... I... I dont like you in that way."

A girl cries out clearly scared. Of Course, it was so low that most could not hear it but there is no way that Cassi and Clyde did not hear it. Clyde's eyes become intense while Annette on the other hand did not care much. But of course, it did not mean that the care is nonexistent. Then they heard a bang and this time even Cassi heard it. "What was that?" Cassi asks surprised.

"It would appear that a young lady is in trouble."

Annette answers stoically.

"How do you know that?"

Cassi asks, confused.

"I heard it. She cried out: Don't do this, I don't like you that way."

Annette answers calmly.

"Wait, then why are you here and not helping her?"

Cassi asks, a little distressed.

"My job is to stay by my lady's side unless told otherwise."

Annette says.

"Alright then, I order you to save her."

Cassi orders.

"What if something happens to you while I am away? I can not risk it."

Annette says.

"I will be fine, besides Clyde Icenfrost is here if anything happens he will help me."

Cassi says confidently. This of course catches the attention of the person himself. No one has ever dared to decide for him before. But it is not like she is wrong, after all, he may not like girls but that doesn't mean that he was so heartless to abandon someone in danger. After all, that is his dignity as a knight. He was just about to go to see that girl himself but now that someone else will do it he won't go. After all, he knew who that girl was. Her name is Delila Breaker, the second daughter of duke Breaker. That girl has been troubling him for months, it was almost borderline-stalking so if he saw him it would make matters worse. But is that aide strong enough to fight or rather would it not turn bad if a mere servant that is usually a commoner hurt a nobleman without evidence. Annette says with eyes as calm as water and an aura of dominance.
