" We encountered assassins at the park. Their target was my lady." She says bluntly. Hearing this the pen he was holding snapped in half and his smiles but if you know him well then you would know that he is furious and out for blood. " How is my daughter?" He asks. " She is alright, they used a knock-out drug on her which should not give any severe after-effects as they intended to kill her outright. But they did not get a chance to touch her as I protected her. I killed all the assassins except one who committed suicide as I attempted to question him. I have no idea of their employer or identity, but they all carried the same badge on them. Which I took with me." She says and gives him the badge. He looked at it and recognized it Immediately and his brows narrowed slightly. " This is the mark of the assassins' guild, because of this we can't find out who the employer is easily as they never reveal their customer information. This is going to be troublesome... by the way, what about Alzid Huzen"?

" If you ask him if he is fine then I can tell you that he is, If you ask if he helped with protecting the lady then all I can say is that I had fun watching until I killed almost half of them," Annette answers hiding her displeasure. " That bastard, He dares to accept a date with my daughter but he does not protect her. I knew that he was nothing good." He says with spite. " Well, now you can convince the grand duchess that he is not a good match for your daughter," Annette answers. " You are right, as expected of you." He says as he returns to his usual self. " Also you don't have to worry, I have already punched him," She says bluntly and proudly. Hearing this Zack gives a gloating smirk and says: " Good job." "Well, enough of this, Have you decided which royal job exam you are going to apply for?" He asks her. " Magical rechercheer." She answers. " Oh, here I thought that you were going to apply for the knights or law enforcer exam." He answers surprised. " It seems like fun." She answers. " A knight, the choice is yours, I will give you 2 free days a week for you to study for it." He says. "Thank you, Also I know that there are still 3 years left but do you have a candidate for my replacement yet?"  She asks. " Oh, why do you care?"

"..." Annette does not answer. " Alright, don't tell me if you want, and to answer your question, I have a few candidates but nothing is set in stone yet." He says. " Alright." She answers and that is when he notices her wound. " You, please tell me that you went to the medical office before you went here to report." He says. " No, I did not." She answers bluntly. " Well, go right now." He says. " I have already patched up the wound." She answers. " That's an order." He commands. "Alright." She says and walks towards the medical office. Once she left the grand duke summons Benjamin into the office. " What is it, my lord?" Benjamin asks. " Go investigate, who sent assassins after my daughter. Focus on very influential and powerful peapole as they are the only ones capable of hiring someone from the assassins' guild," Zack orders. " Alright, master," Benjamin answers.

At the same time, Alzid has returned and instead of going to the medical office, he walks towards the guest room where the prince lives. He opens the door and when the prince sees his wounded face, he looks at him with a mix of shock and worry. " What happened to you?" Joseth asks. Alzid smiles and sitts down. " I was beat up." He answers. " Who is capable enough to do that to you?" Joseth asks. " Your cousin's aide." He answers with a smile. " How should be so daring?" Joseth asks dumbfounded. Hearing this question, Alzid grins. But not his usual sunny white lotus smile. Instead, it is the creepy kind of smile of an obsessed man with beastly tendencies. Seeing this the price feels shivers down his spine. " Hahahaha, as it turns out, he is actually a she, and I got her so mad that she pined me against a tree and hit me." Alzid laughed with joy. "You.. what happened to you?" Joseth asks not recognizing is a friend at all and feels very unsettled in his heart. " Oh, did I not just tell you... Oh, you mean my reaction. I have never felt this way before, I don't know what it is." Alzid says as he has calmed down a little. " Yell me about it," Joseth says. "My heart... my heart started beating very fast when she glared at me with anger, then my whole body started to heat up when she hit me... it... It felt so good. I have been hit before but only when she did it do I feel this euphoric. I want her to do it again, I want her to take notice of me. I cant put it to words" He says. ' Why did he become even more insane?'Joseth thinks. "Could it be that you have taken a liking to her beyond just a toy?" Joseth asks.

"... Yes that must be it, this feeling... it...it must be love." He says with joy.'No this is bad, I feel that he just becomes a lot harder to deal with...
