"Annette, the grand duke wishes to speak with you before you go out with the young miss. He is in his office." He says. "Alright, I will go right now." She says and tells Cassi before she goes.

Hearing this an uncharacteristic facial excretion of worry appears on her face. All be slightly and only for a moment. " I see that you actually do worry about her even though you have never shown it," Zack states with a smirk. " What is it?" Annette asks as she ignores Zack's comment. "Well I have been moderating her soon after you came here, but unexpectedly finding information about her situation in the Pentahast family was very limited. This makes me suspicious, I assumed that because of her god's gift, the Pentahast household was extra secretive because they were under its influence. But the information I recently received was alarming." Zack says.
"In what way?" Annette asks. "It would appear that the baroness was not under its influence because of an amulet she wore, and it is she that was blocking all the information, but that is not the main problem, the problem is that she made your sister drink a potion that if for altering once memories, although I don't know why I do know that she erased her memory of you, according to the spy I sent to the barony," Zack answers. 'So she did not actually forget about her sister in the game on her own, she was drugged.'Annette thinks. " Do you think that she is in any danger and has the baroness a plan for her?" Annette asks calmly.
"As expected of you, you are taking this well,.. as for your questions, no despite being drugged she is treated very well, so I don't think she is in danger, for now at least. As for the second question, I don't know. I recommend that you just let it be until we find more information or find a way for her to be able to reclaim her erased memories." Zack warns. " I understand, anything else?" Annette says. "Just keep an eye on Alzid and prevent him to do anything underhanded to my daughter," Zack says. "Alright." She answers. "Now, you may go then." Zack waves goodbye.

Annette is riding on her horse as she follows the carriage that Alzid and Cassi are using. Of course, instead of being dressed as a male aide, she is now dressed as a male bodyguard. As they are riding. trough the busy city Annette can't help but think about what the grand duke told her earlier.
'Why should the baroness erase Lucia's memories of me? If she has a magical amulet that nullifies Lucia gods gift then did she know about her beforehand? If so, does the baroness what to use Lucia's god's gift for something and is it just her plan or is the baron in on it too? ... No, if he was he would not be under the influence of Lucia's gift as the baroness would probably give her husband a nullifying amulet to so that he could keep a level head. I don't kind that the baroness knows about her ability to summon spirits as in the original work she did not awaken that magical talent before training at the central academy, which is 2 years from now. So what is her goal exactly? All I can think of is that she whats to use Cassi to marry a nobleman from a higher rank so that the Pentahast can move up their rank. After all with Cassi's affection power, she can make any man or woman blind for love that has lower mana than her automatically. She may not have high mana compared to the capture targets with the exception of Clyde but as I heard in my years of serving here I did not find out in that little time I played the game. Clyde has a god's gift that helps him to debuff any curse or blessing-type abilities that are cast on him. So he should be immune to Lucia's gift. But unfortunately for him, that means that a gods gift with a positive effect will not work on him either. But having such high mana is uncommon so much so that Lucia's mana is actually considered pretty high. As the normal capacity of mana is actually from 0 to 300. So her 500 is pretty high. But let's not think more about this as I won't find out her goal with just speculations without anything to go by.'
Now they are at the entrance of the park and are just about to pay for their entrance as the employees of the park use a scanning stone on them so that they don't bring anything dangerous in, of course, things like weapons for guards are allowed and they won't use anything to block once magic as that would not make this park possible to sustain as it relies on magic. So they check things like poisons, dangerous magical items, and animals that are not allowed in as they can enter when they open a gap in the barrier when they let them in. As they have yet to enter Annette cant see what the park looks like as she can only see the magical barrier that covers it, it looks like a big blue dome made out of magical energy, which it is. After 10 min, the procedures are finally done and they may enter. An employee uses a magical item in the shape of a card and puts it on the barrier. Then a big hole forms in the barrier so that they can go in. So they quickly go in as the opening will only hold for 5 min.
As they walked in the first they could see are the famous red maple trees as well as a tiny cute hut where they sell merchandise and refreshments. As well as things like fishing equipment and baskets for foregoing fruits, mushrooms, and barriers. As these activities are very novel and interesting for nobels so they earn a lot of money on it. As this has been a big trend for the last decade and is still going strong. It is very typical of noble to romanticize things and to live out their fantasy in their head. So making that come true is a great way for merchants and businessmen to capitalize on.

That is also when Alzid and Cassi walk out of the carriage and Annette dismounts her horse as they leave the carriage and horse to the park's temporary stall that the employees will bring them to. Well except for Annette's horse as she can use her summoning magic and puts her in her summoning space. As that is where it is theorized that all the animals and items go. Now the first thing on the agenda is for Cassi and Alzid to look around in the store.
