Same thing as last chapter. I'm sorry for the late update. I've been busy with school. Do remember that time inside Sakura's head is different
Konoha 10 walked into the room. Naruto sat in the chair that was next to the bed, and Sasuke leaned against the wall next to it. Ino stood next to Hinata and had a blank face. 'Why is she here in the first place?' Ino thought and shrugged. The only reason why she was there was because Choji had asked of her to be there. She really didn't understand why everyone was in here. Wasn't she a traitor? She looked at Hinata, the one person that seemed to hate Sakura more than anyone else. Her stare was blank, no emotion on her face. Ino let out a frown and looked at the bed. The bed that was occupied by the pinkette. Silence filled the room and all that could be heard were the soft breathings of the shinobi in the room."I wonder what Sakura-Chan has been doing all this time away from us?" Naruto whispered but his small question was heard throughout the quiet room. Sasuke let out a sigh, and Choji give his loud-friend a pat on the back. Ino looked at Hinata, but she still had a blank look on her face. "Who knows? For all we know she could've been killing people. Its what the Akatsuki does. Believe it or not, she is not the same person we once knew," Kiba said and Naruto quickly stood up from his chair. "Don't talk like you know her. You know nothing at all!" Kiba let out a scowl, "Do you know her?!" Naruto clenched his fists and walked out, leaving the room filled with silence again. One by one, everyone left, leaving the room quiet and lonely. The bright sun soon turned into the lonely moon.
*inside Sakura's head*
"I wanted to become your brother, build a family, and teach you everything I know," Yahiko said but let out a sad chuckle, "but things don't go as planned." Sakura let her head fall in defeat."Sakura, we are shinobi. Some of us get to have a happy ending and life, others like ourselves do not. Some of us have lost comrades right in front of us, and we couldn't do anything to stop it. Some of us were cursed with power or hidden talent. Sometimes, our loyalty can be our downfall," Yahiko whispered into the air, and Sakura stayed silent. "You know, I wish we had a happy ending. I bet if you stayed in the village, you could've found love. I wouldn't have ever met you or cause you pain. It's sad to know that I won't be there to see you make memories, but I will always be in your heart."Sakura felt a tear roll down her face, and she quickly wiped it away. Yahiko noticed and gave a soft smile. "Hey, you don't have to be strong around me. Let that wall down. I won't judge." Sakura clenched her teeth and felt tear after tear escape. Yahiko walked to her and wrapped his arms around her, feeling his shirt get wet. "It's not fair...it's not.."Sakura whispered as her tears fell to the floor. "Why..why do some of us have to get the bad ending? All I ever wanted was to be loved...recognized..Everything I love gets taken away from me. Why?" Yahiko couldn't help but let out a frown at the sad tone of her voice. "Hey, look at me. We can never change fate. No matter how hard you try or beg. That's how life is, but Sakura, I know you can make a great change. You can stop this endless cycle of sad endings. I believe in you. I always have and always will," Yahiko let out a smile and let go of Sakura.
He looked up at scenery and let a tear fall. "I think it's time for you to go. You'll be waking up sooner than expected." Sakura quickly stood up and shook her head. "I'm not leaving you. I'm not leaving without you! Never again!" Yahiko looked into her purple eyes. The ones full of determination and sadness. The will of fire burned deep into them. 'I truly believe that you can change your path,' he thought and gave a sad smile. "I'm sorry, Sakura. Go on, some people are waiting for you. I can't be selfish. Go on. You can do this. I believe in you," he said and sat down. He felt himself start to fade and watched as Sakura quickly ran to him. "Hey, stop it. Don't leave, please," she said as she ran full speed towards him. Yahiko closed his eyes and felt half his body disappear.
Sakura's eyes widened, and with one final effort leapt at him. "Goodbye, Sakura," with his final breath he had disappeared, leaving Sakura to fall against the cold-hard ground. She curled herself into her body and let out a scream. A tear filled scream.
*outside of Sakura's head*The sun had made its way into the sky once more, and the small hospital room was filled with the Akatsuki. "Don't worry, Konan. She'll be awake by tomorrow, un!" Deidara exclaimed and was overjoyed. "Brat, tone it down. It's too early to deal with you," Sasori stated and Deidara let out a scowl. Konan and itachi let out a sigh at the upcoming argument, and Kisame put the flowers they had gotten for Sakura on the desk next to her bed. "Man, when is the bitch going to wake up? It's boring without her," hidan cursed and Kakuzu raised an eyebrow. "If she was here, you would be across konohagakure by now." Hidan let out a scowl and turned to his comrade. "Why you, little shit-.." "Why are you so loud?" The Akatsuki quickly looked at the bed and noticed two familiar purple eyes. They had finally opened again. 'Early as always. Aren't you, Sakura?"
