*Backtrack*
Sakura followed the ANBU messenger and soon was in front of the elders, Danzo, and even Tsunade. The last person shocked her for she didn't expect her. The Hokage cleared her throat,"Sakura we have a mission for you. It's not going to be easy, but we give you a choice. Accept or have someone else do it. Now Danzo will explain the details," Tsunade threw a sad glance at the kneeling form of her student, her mask was off, yet she could see curiosity in her eyes. Danzo stood up and got his cane, slowly walking to the kneeling ground and stopped 3 feet in front of her. "A certain person is the leader of a coup that's going to happen in 3 months and 3 weeks. We have information that this person is close to you, Haruno. He has gathered shinobi and some ANBU for this coup, shinobi and ANBU who are your friends will follow his command. I won't say a name but we need you to spy on them and report immediately to us. When the last week of the deadline is here, you must kill them and leave the village, and become a rogue ninja. We will have you spy the outside and gather as much information you can and send us a message. That is all," and with that he walked back to his seat. The lady from the elder title stood up and said the name of the leader and time slowed down for Sakura ," Shikamaru Nara is the head behind the coup. His clan is following every order. Now Sakura, you're an ANBU and you vowed to give your life for this village. Your will of fire is stronger than everyone's else that I've seen. You are loyal to no end. Now do you accept?" 'Shikamaru why...not you too. Why does everyone betray me? Why?' Sakura felt her heart clutch in pain and felt the feeling of betrayal all over again. She put on her mask and looked at the four people in front of her. Tsunade feared her answer , but Danzo knew the girl had made her choice as he heard the words. Sakura responded,"Yes," and that was all it took as a folder was passed to her. "The information is there, once you read it you must burn it. Don't let the nara see it. You can't tell anyone about this mission, word mustn't get out. Dismissed," Sakura nodded and left with the folder. Tsunade sighed ,'I'm sorry Sakura,'
Sakura sat on a rooftop reading the information the folder had. It had all the plans for a coup. A perfect plan, of course it's perfect it's shikamaru. 'Shikamaru...You know the sad thing about this is that I have to kill you, one of the people that stayed by my side. Please forgive me for what I'll do. I'm sorry Shikamaru...' she went to her training grounds, threw the folder on the ground, and did a quick fire jutsu, setting the folder on fire and turning it into ash.What she didn't know is that ,just like the folder was turning into ashes, her happiness was turning into ashes, as well. When the folder turned to ashes, she kicked them around, scattering them and leaving no sign of a fire or folder. She jumped onto a roof top and stared at the sunset. 'How could something so beautiful, signalize a day she must kill a friend. A friend? He's an enemy now...' was all she could think as she neared the house they all shared. She saw Choji cooking and gave a simple wave and was met with a congratulations on your promotion. "Thank you," and with that she took of her mask and sat at the table. And when the plate was set in front of her , she took off her other mask and started eating.
*At night*
"Father, the plans are set and well attack in 2 months. The date has been moved by me, it will be more beneficial. I already came up with plans that will help us ,succeed." Shikaku looked at his son and nodded and told him that he's dismissed. Shikamaru went back to the home he shared with his friends and sadly smiled. He will have to kill them because ,as his father said, they're in the way. He entered his home stealthily and saw no one awake. "In two months I will have to kill my friends," he lowly muttered to himself, not knowing that a pink Kunoichi was wide awake and listening to his muttering.
