The sun could be seen rising and a lone figure was standing on the Hokage mountain. Her pink hair lightly swayed in the wind and her tears stained the floor. She clutched her fists and wiped her eyes, furiously, but to no avail the tears still came. She promised herself that she would never cry, not for them. 'The pain..it hurts.' She has lost her family, her comrades, and her parents. Seeing her old comrades and friends brought all the pain from the past. Her tears stained the floor and the aura around her was a gloomy one. She remembered when one of her new senseis told her. "An ANBU doesn't show emotion and carry out a mission and see it to be complete. No matter what." Anko still tells her that to this day. Sakura clenched her fists tighter and wiped her tears away and looked at the horizon. 'Mom..Dad..are you proud of me? I'm sorry the last thing I said was I hate you, I'm sorry...
*Flashback*
"I hate you!!" She screamed as she shut the door and ran towards the training ground. They were celebrating her 13th birthday and her dad suddenly asked for a request. He told her he wanted her to quit the ninja life , and Sakura couldn't stand it. Even her mother, who had supported her through everything , agreed with her father. She punched the trees , and in her anger punched a boulder without her gloves. 'Why do they want me to quit?' Outer, they care about you, that's why. Take a deep breath and calm down. She took deep breaths and cleared her head of negative thoughts. 'I should go and apologize,' she thought as she ran back to her house. After 20 minutes of running, she saw the front door of the house open. She started getting a bad feeling about this but shook it off. "Mom..Dad, I'm sorry for what I said. I didn't mean it. I-," she stopped as she smelled the scent of blood. She quickly ran to her parents room and found two bodies on the ground. Her mother's hair and her father's shirt, all over their chests was blood. 'Nononono, this cant be,' she though as she tried healing them and checking their pulse. She let her chakra run through her hands, only her mother had a pulse. "Come on," she said as she tried harder to heal her mother but was stopped ,as her mother weakly gripped her worst and pushed it away. "S-sakura..Dont cry, you," she stopped as she coughed blood and Sakura's eyes widened. Why wasn't her healing working? Is she not strong enough? "You're strong..and I want you to be the greates Kunoichi. Please for us, and I love y..." Mebuki couldn't speak as her heart had stopped beating. "Mom.MOM!!." Sakura started shaking her mom, she hoped this was all a dream. As she tried everything to revive them both, her face was full of tears. "D-dont leave me. Please...don't leave me..not like them," after that she collapsed by using all her chakra to heal them, yet they did not wake up , not even to say a goodbye.
*Flashback ends*
She was jumping on the roof with her mask on, yet she never noticed her tears. She saw the Hokage's office and she decided to see her sensei. She was almost there but came face to face with Naruto, she had he mask on. "Oh umm Blossom right," he said as he scratched the back of his neck ,awkwardly. He held out a hand to her and said ," My name is Naruto Uzumaki! And I'm going to be Hokage, believe it!" 'You left me..,' she though and said ," Uzumaki Naruto I don't have time for this, I have an important meeting with the Hokage, excuse me," and with that she left and ran to the office. Naruto stared at her and got a feeling of familiarity. All he could see was pink. She walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. "Come in," and she went in and took off her mask. Shikamaru and Hinata could be seen standing in there as well and Choji was training his genin team. "Morning Lady Tsunade, Shadow, and Lily," she said as she felt a chakra signature near. The two other ANBU understood, and quickly put on their masks. Tsunade quickly looked outside and saw no one. 'They must be on the roof' she thought as she looked at the three ANBU in front of her. "I'm sorry to say but you will reveal your status today," she looked around and saw Sakura clench her fists and the other two tense. "It has been brought to my attention that your old comrades are not trusting you three. Now Blossom you are training to be captain of the ANBU, and Shadow and Lily will be there to help you along the way. Their reactions may be different but reveal yourselves, state your title and report back to me as soon as possible. That is all dismissed," and with that the three ANBU nodded and exited her office. They were jumping from rooftop to rooftop and Sakura decided to put her hair in a ponytail. "You know, I wonder what their reactions will be," shikamaru stated as they kept jumping. "Well they haven't recognized us, so maybe shock," Hinata said as they got closer to the house of their old comrades. "I heard Choji talked to them and well it didn't look pretty, but today is the day," Sakura said and landed on the ground . Shikamaru and Hinata landed beside her, and they all held their breath when the front door opened. "What are you guys doing here?" Said sasuke as he narrowed his eyes. "Uchiha Sasuke can you call your comrades and tell them to meet outside. It is of an important matter," Sakura said in a firm tone. Sasuke stayed quiet and went inside and after three minutes familiar faces were infront of them. "What's the deal? Yeah! I was getting my hair done, you know? Sasuke!" Were all heard throughout and Sakura decided to interfere. "We are here to reveal our ANBU status and ourselves. That is all. Shadow," she said and Shikamaru stepped forward and took of his mask. Ino gasped and Asuma's cigarette fell out of his mouth. "S-shikamaru, you-you're an ANBU!," Ino screeched as Asuma stared at his old student in shock. "It's shadow," and with that he put on his mask and stepped back onto his previous spot. "Lily," Sakura said and Hinata took a deep breath. She slowly took of her mask and looked at Naruto, who's mouth had opened in shock. "Hinata," Kurenai said and tried to take a step forward but was blocked by Shikamaru. Kurenai took a step back in shock, she hadn't seen shikamaru move so quickly before. Shino stayed quiet and was observing his old teammate and Naruto was left gaping. Hinata clenched her fists and took a step back, putting her mask on. It was finally Sakura's turn. She took a deep breath and said," I am blossom of the ANBU and am co-captain, but you knew me as Sakura Haruno," And with that she took of her mask, and her old team was left in shock but if one looked closer, they could see a tear fall from Naruto's eye. "S-sakura," he said as he tried to take a step forward. Sakura felt a wave of sadness pass through her, even though Naruto said those things , she still thought of him as her brother. Kakashi felt a wave of guilt pass through him, Ino and Karin could stare for days at her. They both felt angry. One was because of her status and two they thought she still liked Sasuke. The uchiha was calculating her quietly, no emotions on his face. Sakura has a stoic expression on her face, 'an ANBU doesn't show emotion' is what she kept repeating inside her head. The ANBU path is one of self sacrifice for your village, kakashi knew well, but yet he had left his villages to find his student forgetting the pinkette. "This must be a joke. The Sakura I knew is weak," Ino stated proudly and Karin nodded along. She was about to make another comment but was met with a fist to her face. "We must be going Shadow, Lily," And with that she put on her mask and turned around with her teammates following her, leaving the old team 7 and the rest staring at the spots their old teammates had been in.
