Down the Same Path

*March 27th*
The day had come. She put on her ANBU uniform, and strapped her sword on her back. She went down the kitchen and made breakfast for everyone. She had finished cooking bacon and egg, ate the table, and was now sitting down, looking at two pictures. One was of Team 7 and the other of her, Choji, shikamaru, And Hinata. She slowly sighed and closed her eyes, waiting for her friends. She could her footsteps nearing the table, and saw her 3 friends staring at the food in confusion. She motioned for them to sit and eat and they did. "What was this for Sakura?" Choji asked as he ate the delicious food. Shikamaru raised an eyebrow and Hinata kindly smiled at her. "Well remember when I told you guys about a long mission I was going on, well I'm leaving today. And I decided to do this, since I won't be seeing you guys. It's my last goodbye, for now. I'll be back, I promise," she said and was engulfed in hugs. She lightly smiled but she had to leave now. She had to come up with a plan, to massacre the Nara clan. She escaped the group and walked to the door. She looked back and saw one tear roll from Hinata's eye and the other two waving. She sadly smiled, she was going to miss them. Her family. She gave one last wave, and disappeared. Leaving her friends with a wave of sadness pass through them. "Don't cry, she'll be back Hinata," Choji said as he put a hand on her shoulder. Shikamaru did the same, and realized he has to kill his friends. His second family. His real family. Sakura was looking for Naruto and Sasuke and found them in Ichiraku's ramen. She walked to them and tapped their shoulders, causing them both to turn around. "Hey guys, I just wanted you to know, that I'll be going on a mission, and I don't know when I'll come back. I'll miss you guys, you were my first true friends," she said and Sasuke felt a wave of deja vu. "Darn, well I'll miss you Sakura. Come eat ramen with me!" He said as he showed her the plate, Sakura smiled and said,"Sorry Naruto , maybe next time,"she gave him a quick hug and a pat on his head and awkwardly hugged Sasuke, who tensed up but gave in. 'I'm sorry Naruto, there's no next time,' she waved goodbye to them and transported into Lady Tsunade'd office. "When will you strike?" She asked her pupil, taking her in for the last time. "I'll strike at 11, ma'am. They are long distance fighters while I'm close distance, I'll be fine and become a rogue." Tsunade stood up and gave the girl a hug. Sakura tensed up but tightly hugged back. The world was cruel, and now she had to do this. She had to leave , forever. They both slowly let go and Sakura checked her watch. It was 2pm. '9 more hours,' she thought and Tsunade knew what she was thinking. "Take care Sakura, I'll miss you and no matter what you do. To me you're still a shinobi from the leaf," Sakura smiled a smile that showed pain, emotional pain. "Thank you, Tsunade for everything. Goodbye," and with that she went to the elders, leaving Tsunade with an empty feeling. Sakura walked to the elders' office and found them there, with danzo. "Panther, are you ready?" "I am," Sakura said with her mask on. "Good, rest for now you'll need it," and with that she went to rest. Meditating, was what she was doing, she's going to save her chakra. Her plan was to silently entered the household, kill them in their sleep. If she had to use water or fire then she will, she had to complete her mission. She mediated for 3 hours and got hungry. She summoned an ANBU and told him if he can bring her some food. "Yes mi Lady," he said and disappeared. After 15 minutes, he came back with a bowl of ramen and handed it to her. "Thank you Iruko, you may leave now," she said and the ANBU nodded. She took her time eating her ramen, it will be the last she will have today. The ramen reminded her of naruto, and she sadly smiled. She won't lie that she had developed a feeling for him, but this was the last time she will see him. See hinata, Sasuke, Choji, and shikamaru. She put her bowl down and checked her watch. She was going to take sleep, so she took of her mask, vest, she took of all of her protective gear, leaving her only in a black shirt and black pants. She let out a sigh and went to sleep. Hinata missed her friend , Choji missed her, Naruto missed her, Tsunade missed her, and even sasuke but he wouldn't say anything. Shikamaru was going to miss his friends the most. For they had been there for him, they went through everything together. Happy memories, sad memories, every memory, was with Hinata, Choji, and Sakura. Now he had to get rid of them. He sighed as they were walking to the ramen stand, and ordered their ramen. When they finished, the sun was already setting and they all went back home. "It's 7:16 , I wonder how sakura is doing," Hinata said making Choji chuckle and Shikamaru look at her. "She's probably already got a scent on whoever she's looking for, plus she takes her missions seriously. She'll be back soon, I know it," he said to comfort her friend. Shikamaru nodded along, and as they entered their home, they separated and went to their rooms to sleep. "7:30 huh, sadly, I have to rest and the village will be gone. And they won't stop me, and with that shikamaru closed his eyes and drifted to sleep. At 10:30 her watch beeped and Sakura had woken up, she raised her arms, got up and started stretching. 10:40, she started putting her gear on slowly and stood up. 10:50 she stared outside the window in the room, and started exiting the building and climbed the Hokage's tower. She took one last view of her village. 10:59, she let out a breath and put her ANBU mask on, and at 11:00 the captain was going to kill her friend and his clan. With that she ran to the household and stood in front of it, and hid her chakra. It had become 11:00 pm and she took off running, quietly. Her first victims, was a family of four.
