Down the Same Path

*At Konoha*
Tsunade has had a long life. She noticed the smallest things no one else would, but never did she expect to see the Akatsuki a gloomy bunch. It was almost hilarious. Almost. Konan sighed. Two days had passed and Sakura was not in the village. She could tell it was having an effect on the group. Itachi went back to talking in syllables, and Hidan became serious. Everyone else was usually quiet and serious now. Not only that but last night there was a red blood moon. Someone's blood was spilled, and she hoped it wasn't Sakura's.

Tsunade was walking around the village and felt a familiar presence. 'Sakura!' She thought as she ran to the gates. "Saku-." The moment Tsunade got there, she stopped in terror and shock. Her student had injuries and she sensed low chakra levels. Dried blood and red spots were seen on her shoulders and legs. Sakura's eyes slowly closed and she felt her body slowly fall. She watched as Sakura slowly swayed side to side and fell to the ground. Tsunade's body seemed to move on its own as it ran to Sakura and scooped her quickly into her arms, running to the hospital. Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, Choji, kiba, and Ino were chatting with each other and eating ramen. Naruto was slurping every noodle and asked for more bowls. Sasuke stared at his friend in disgust while the girl chatted with each other. Choji and kiba were eating their noodles calmly and were having a talk about the new jutsus they were working on.

"Hey Sasuke, how about we spar-." Naruto stopped midway as he noticed Tsunade running and time slowed down for him as he saw the familiar pink hair. He dropped his chopsticks and stared wide eyed and his friends looked at him with worry. Hinata reached a hand out ,"Naruto what's wrong?" She almost put her hand on to his shoulder, but before she could , he got up and ran out of the small stand. His friends looked at him and ran to him, leaving the stand. Tsunade quickly entered the hospital and ran to a room that was only used for emergency operations, usually used for shinobi that seemed on the verge of dying. She entered and laid down Sakura on the unoccupied bed, before screaming for nurses to bring her the items she needed. "Bring me a bowl of water, a scalpel, and a towel." She used her medical chakra and did a scan on her student's body.

'Kunai wounds on shoulders and legs, chakra depletion, and..poison,' Tsunade quickly shook her head and got to work. The poison she detected was one that she was familiar with. It originated from Suna and was a lethal poison if not treated after 24-72 hours. She let out a string of curses and quickly got to work. She felt the familiar warm feeling in her hands and started healing her student to the best ability she could. The wounds slowly closed but the chakra depletion and poison still remained. She looked at the areas of the kunai wounds, dried blood evidently on her clothing. The nurses entered and left the supplies Tsunade had ordered them to bring. She walked to the cabinet that held many herbs and medicines and got the herbs and medicine she needed to make the antidote.

A nurse came in and looked at her before speaking,"Lady Tsunade, some people are requesting to see, Haruno Sakura." Tsunade didn't look up from the antidote she was furiously working on and spoke in a stern voice," No one is allowed in! This is an emergency and I won't rest until my patient is back to health. Don't let anyone in!" The nurse nodded and quickly got out of the room. She took half an hour and finally got the antidote, quickly walking to the bed Sakura was on. She set the antidote next to the bowl of water and towel, and grabbed the scalpel. She took a deep breath, not wanting to hurt her student but a medic ninja must not rest until their patient is safe. She walked to the door and put a chair against the door knob, before turning away and going back to her student. 

*1 hour earlier*
Naruto stood up and ran after Tsunade but lost her through the crowd of civilians. That person she was carrying had to be Sakura, it had to be. 'Why was she being carried by granny? Is Sakura okay? Is that Sakura? Is Sakura alive?' All those thoughts filled his head as he pushed through the crowd of civilians and jumped to the roofs of the houses. He quickly headed to the hospital, running as fast as he could. If that was Sakura in Tsunade's arms, then something must of happened to her and he needed to go to the hospital. His friends were a mile behind him, trying to catch up to the blond haired friend. They were all wondering why he was running, fast. They saw as he made his way to the Hospital, being familiar with the directions when they would visit Sakura.

"What's wrong with Naruto?" Hinata asked and looked at Sasuke who only kept looking forward. "I don't know, he just looked up and ran." He knew something was wrong with his friend. Choji looked at Hinata, confusion written on all their faces while Ino furrowed her eyebrows. "Why is he running to the hospital?" Choji looked to her and opened his mouth," That's what we're all wondering." "Who knows but whatever it is, it has Naruto running fast," Kiba said and they all looked at the running figure that got farther away from them. Naruto picked up his speed, his heartbeat increasing and his breathing becoming deep. He saw the hospital 2 miles ahead of him and ran faster than he ever did. It took him 8 minutes before he barged in and looked around.

Nurses were scurrying with few items to a room and he followed them, seeing them enter an emergency room. When they opened the door, there was no doubt. Pink hair and black mask. The door quickly closed and he stayed there , standing still. His friends caught up and panted for breath. Ino walked to Naruto and was about to hit his head, before he muttered
,"Sakura-Chan."
