Down the Same Path

Her first victims was a family of four, they were killed in their sleep, a sword went through them, killing the immediately. "The kids were innocent," she lowly muttered to herself but she couldn't leave anyone alive. That was her mission. She went to each house, killing them, but in other houses , people were awake and put up a fight. She had trouble at first but before they could let out a scream, she punctured their hearts with her fists, and slowly watched them fall. The household was in chaos, she had set one on fire, killing 20 people inside. According to the files she was given, she only needed 50 people more. She set houses on fire, killed some with a punch to the heart, or a stab to the heart. Some were asleep and died in their sleep, some were awake and had to feel pain. 11:30, she needs 20 more people. 10 of them were children, it hurt her heart to kill them. They did nothing wrong, but reality is filled with cruel and untrusting lies. It brings nothing but pain and suffering. She found them huddled in an alley way, and killed them quickly, painlessly. She didn't want them to feel pain. 11:40 10 people left, 3 of them where shikamaru's family and 7 were skilled warriors. She would have to ambush them. She spotted a group of 5, and quickly got into battle, she killed a Chunnin, and the rest were jōnin. They engaged into a battle of Taijutsu, and Sakura was careful to not get stuck in a shadow. 10 minutes had passed and she took them down, along with two Chunins that had joined to help their comrades. 11:50 3 people left, shikamaru's family. She walked to their house and saw them sitting together. "Sakura, you're here," Shikaku said and the wife looked at her childlike figure. Shikamaru tensed up, but overall knew he wasn't getting out alive. "I see that you choose to do this, but don't worry our pain will be ended quickly, while yours will last for eternity," while Shikaku was saying this Sakura had killed Shikamaru's mom and she took of her mask, tears falling down her eyes. "Sakura, you may not be my daughter but I always thought you were to me," her tears began to freely fall, as she deliver a punch to his heart. "Sakura, you will always be my friend. My teammate and my second love," at that he sadly smiled, as Sakura was shaking with her sword to his back. "Take care of Hinata and Choji for me," he lightly chuckled and said ,"I'll miss you guys," and with that she pierced his heart, she looked at him her pain was rushing down her face. 11:55, she had to leave her village. She walked out of the household, and set it on fire. She walked to the gates, looking around the village. No one was awake, but she knew in 10 minutes there will be shinobi trying to put out the fire. 11:58 she know stood outside of konoha and climbed a tree, she looked at the Nara's clan household, and saw fires and bodies laying around. She saw as her friend's house was burning. She took of her hita-aite and grabbed a kunai, slashing the konoha symbol. She put it on and felt tears fell. 12:00 am and her watch beeped. 'Happy Birthday to me,' was the thought she had as she felt more tears sliding down her face. She looked away from her village , and ran away. Leaving no trace of her scent there. Hinata and Choji were rushing into their ninja gear, as quickly as they could. The words Nara Clan set on fire and massacre were in their heads. They both rushed out and saw Kurenai, kakashi, Asuma, naruto, sasuke, and Ino running ahead of them, and they all met at the entrance of the Nara Clan Household. Kakashi quickly did a water Style Jutsu and put the fires around the household away. Some homes were already ashes and some weren't. Bodies were burned and they could smell the awful smell of it and blood. The scene in front of Sasuke reminded him of his own clan massacre, and he looked down. They all searched for living bodies, but only found them with a stab through the heart, set on fire, or what looked like a punch to heart. Hinata and Choji ran to Shikamaru's house, only to see it falling from the fire. Hinata almost rushed in, but Choji held her back. "Shikamaru is in there, Choji let me go!," she screamed as she wanted to save her friend. "Hinata he's gone, if he was inside the house, he's gone," hinata stopped and she fell to the ground. She wanted to cry, but she had her ANBU uniform on. Show no emotion is what Sakura said after she was taught by Itsuki and trained to be captain some day. She stood up and felt tears fall, but her mask didn't show anyone what she felt. Naruto and the others were collecting the bodies they could save and put them in a black bag, they were going to be burry them, and honor them for the last time. It was a long night for them, they tried to clean the blood, but stains were left. Some hearts broke as a shinobi said,"The Nara clan is no more." Some cried, while some looked down. If Sakura was here, she wouldn't show emotion. "Sakura, please come back to us," hinata muttered to herself but naruto heard it and nodded along. Sakura had set camp, 10 miles away from konoha and said one sentence. "I'm sorry guys, but I won't be coming back," and that night she cried herself to sleep.
