The next morning_

"Thank fuck for Saturday's," I grumbled as I pulled my jacket on and grabbed my helmet, "I'm going on that ride today. Ain't no body stopping me."

My stomach grumbled as I was mid walking down the stairs.

"That might stop me," I steered myself to the kitchen and started looking for something to eat.

There was plenty of food there.

Just nothing I wanted to eat.

Therefore—

"Damn. We have nothing to eat," I huffed, "guess I'll have to go buy something before going on my ride."

Pulling my helmet on as I walked, I left the house and locked the door before climbing onto my bike and heading straight towards the town centre.

So I now know the chocolate is expensive despite it being absolute shit and I'm going to need a lot more than an apple or a pear to keep me going on the road, especially if I want to get a full ride in and try find some sign of Barb.

Her car has moved.

So unless someone took it and tossed it somewhere else, then Barb drove away somewhere. In that case... Where did she go? And why?

I'll buy a few sandwiches and some drinks. Oh, I'll need to buy a bag too since I didn't pick up my backpack on my way out.

Not very prepared, am—what in the hell?

As I pulled to a red light, I looked to my right to see the cinema. But it had been vandalised, not only that but Nancy was the centre of the vandalism.

'ALL THE RIGHT MOVES STARRING NANCY THE SLUT WHEELER'

"What the fuck?" I flipped my visor up, as if the visor was blocking my vision and distorting what was on the board.

The words didn't change.

"Who the fuck wrote that?" I was disgusted but then my gaze met Nancy's.

She was standing in the middle of the road, clearly had just seen what was painted onto the sign. Jonathan Byers was stood beside her.

A quick scan around us and I noticed that people walking past had also noticed Nancy and were quite obviously making crude comments as they passed, not even attempting to hide them.

Disgusting people.

"Nance—" I went to call out to her but something else had caught her attention and she walked after it, disappearing down an alley with Jonathan frantically following after, "oh boy."

Guess my plans are dirt under my wheels now.

As the light turned green I made a (very illegal) left into the alley and drove up to where Nancy and Jonathan were now confronting Tommy, Carol, Flippy McFlippy Stevey boy and the girl from the car park incident at school who I now remember the name to be Nicole. She's a bitch. No wonder I couldn't remember it.

"You don't want to be known as the lying slut now, do you?" Carol asked Nancy.

I climbed off my bike and pulled my helmet off before rushing forward and putting myself between them.

"Carol, you should watch what you say because I'm fairly certain you're describing yourself," I told her, "it's kinda sad to be so self-deprecating, babe."

"Fuck you," Carol sneered at me and I just stuck my tongue out at her as Jonathan got a bit closer to us.

"Speak of the devil," Tommy hopped down off his ledge where he was clearly spray painting before.
