I never thought I was gonna see this person again ever, it's my ex, the new member is my ex-boyfriend and the father to my son!

"Alyssa this is Eddie Diaz, Eddie this is my daughter Alyssa Nash" My father says and I nod trying to keep cool. I took out my hand for a handshake and he gladly take it

"Nice to meet your Diaz, hopefully we can become really good friends like I am with everyone else" I say with a fake smile and I believe he can see right through that fake smile

"same here" he says and you can tell he's nervous

"Ok, let's go to restock the trucks and do our daily maintenance checks. Alyssa can you stay here for a few minutes" my dad says and we all nod. Everyone gets up to go restock and make sure everything is in perfect condition for a call. I stay back upstairs and my father talks to me

"Are you ok? I can tell there was some thing up between you and Diaz! You can always talk to me" he says and I nod

"That's my ex and father to my son" I say whispering so no one hears me. I never talk about my past anyone here at the house. They only know about the fire in Minnesota

"What" my dad says shocked and I nod

"Yeah, The one who broke up with me two weeks after graduation and a week later started dating someone new. Yep that's him" I say and he nods

"Do you know who he started dating" he ask me

"This girl name Shannon who is in our grade who you can tell liked him but also hated me. Around senior year they started getting close and started becoming best friends but you can tell she was trying to become more" I say and he nods

"He still with her, he said he has a wife named Shannon" he says and I nod

"People were saying that he was starting to get feeling for her. People can tell he loved her and me but it's was hard for him to pick. So I started distancing myself from him around graduation and it work. He picked!" I say and with tears rolling down my cheeks. He gives me a hug, we only talked about my ex once and that when I saw my father for the first time after the incident when I moved to LA!

"Do you think you can work with him? Not relationship but work like job" he asks me and I nod

"I can try but if it doesn't work what happens" I ask him

"I transfer you to a different house or transfer him to a different house. I rather do the second option" he says and I nod

"I will let you know by the end of this week or earlier" I say and he nods. I head downstairs to help the others, I help Hen and Chim restock the trucks

"It good to have you back" Chim says

"Thank Chim" I say with a smile

"This new" I say talking about the ambulance, it looks new!

"Yup" Hen says fast

"Do you I want to know why" I ask

"Nope" Chim says popping the "p" and I nod knowing not to ask anymore

"Hey Nash" Eddie says coming up to me, I give him a dirty look and he looks hurt

"Diaz" I say nicely and go back to working. He walks away to go work on something

"You ok" Hen says

"Yeah, I'm fine" I say with a smile but I feel like she can tell it's fake. She knows me too well!

"Ok, i'm gonna ask you this nicely. You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I can tell somethings up. What's up between you and Diaz? And don't deny it I can tell there's something between you two that possibly relates to your past" she says and I nod i'm telling her she's right but before I can even answer the ground starts shaking severely. This does happen but never this bad, this is probably the worst I've ever seen it out of all my years working in LA.
