Alyssa Pov

So we get the worker on the ironing board it's not hard but I think it was a smart idea of putting him on it.

We make it to the elevator door and the boys open the door and I stay with the worker.

"At at least we're not blocked by any debris" Eddie says

"Or an elevator" Ali says, great! That may not be good

"I like are chances" Buck says

We start getting ready to make our way down a couple floors. Eddie goes first with the worker so he can open the doors , then Ali and Buck go and then I'm last!

I start making my way down, as I get halfway down the building start shaking again and we're getting another aftershock. Why at the worst time possible? I look up and I realize the elevator is starting to move down oh sh*t

"Keep the door open" I yell to the boys

"Let's go Alyssa! Move you ass" Eddie yells

"incoming" I yell as I get closer to the door. I end up swinging myself into the floor but I feel myself land on sometime. Omg! I landed on Eddie

"Sorry" I say getting off of him

"It's ok, as long as you're ok, that all that matters. its fine" he says and I nod.

"I told you I liked our chances" Buck says

We take a minute to breathe and then we start making our way out of the building. We end up making our way out of the building safe. We get the worker some help and send him off to the hospital.

We then realize my father and chimney are still in the building looking for Hen. I did hear over my radio that they ordered everyone out of the building for safety reasons but I know my dad and Chim would never leave Hen behind. I start making my way back to the building but I'm stopped by Eddie and Buck

"Where are you going" Eddie asks me confused

"My best friend is trapped inside the building right now. I would do anything to help. She's like a sister to me I can't lose her but also my dad and my other friend are still in that building. They're gonna need all the help they can get" I say and the boys agree but before we go in they try to get more people to come help us because we know it's gonna take major equipment and a lot more hands. Take some convincing but the incident commander agrees and helps. Make her way into the building where chimney and my dad are located

"Looks like we got here just in time then" Buck says as we walk up to my dad and chimney

"Yeah seems like they were planning on having all the fun without us" Eddie says

"Heard over the radio you needed some equipment and available hands down here" I say

"You you know you guys are disobeying a direct order" my dad says

"and they'll be doing reprimanded as soon as we're done here" The incident commander says coming up behind us

"Looks like you're gonna have to reprimand yourself as well" my dad says

"I'm seriously considering it, your people are very persuasive and persistent. One shot captain. Either way, no one's coming to rescue us" she says and we start working. We start moving stuff out with the proper equipment that will help.

We end up making a good enough hole that Hen can come out and she's on the other side

"Hen" Buck asks

"Hen are you there" Buck says again. And a couple seconds later she appears with the little girl that was missing. We end up all doing a group hug. We're literally like a big family.

We make her way out of the building, the little girl reunites with her family. Me and chimney give hen a check up to make sure she's in perfect condition. Everything comes out perfect

"Never do that again, really scared the shit out of me. You're like a sister to me" I say and she smiles

"No promises" she says and the three of us start laughing.

I make my way over to the Engine to start help putting stuff away. Buck and Eddie do the same thing next to me.

"Hey service" Buck says and I immediately take out my phone and see a text from Christopher saying that he's ok. I quickly text him back asking where he is. He replies saying that he is at school and that they're staying open late tonight for anyone who is either stuck in this mess or has to help out. I tell him that I'm coming soon and I get a smiling emoji from him. He loves sending emojis

"He ok" I say with a smile

"That's amazing" Buck says smiling

"Hey do you need a ride, I'm giving Eddie one also" Buck asks and I nod knowing that I'm a mess right now if I were to drive.

"Hey is your wife ok" Buck asks Eddie and he nods

"Yeah she's fine" he says but you can tell there's something off about it. We make our way to firehouse and I get my stuff together so I can get ready to leave. I say bye to everyone and then I make my way to Bucks car. I said in the front seat with back driving and Eddie in the back.

I gave Buck the address and it doesn't take long until we're in front of the school. Once the car stops I I look out the window and I see my son waiting right by the doors with a teacher. I get out of the car and I ran as fast as I can to him. Once he's right in front of me I pick him up and I spin him around! The biggest smile appears on his face, I love that smile!!

Now the hard part, Eddie is about to meet him. How will he react?

we start making our way to the car and me and Eddie moves to the front so I can sit with my son. I help him into the car since he's a struggle but also this car is a little too high up for him.

"We are all set" I say to buck as we are all good in the back and seatbelt on

"Christopher, that is Buck and this is Eddie" I say telling my son who is who

"Hello" Christopher says in a tired voice

"Uh oh, someone sound sleepy" Buck says which causes me to laugh and Eddie also

"Well it's wonderful to meet you Christopher" Eddie says I look over at my son and I realize he's asleep

"And He's Sleeping, when he has a very busy day he's known for falling asleep in the car" I say and they nod. We pull into my driveway. I thank Buck for driving me home. I pick up Christopher and I walk turn my front door and unlock the door. Once the doors unlocked I waved to the boys with my free hand and head inside.

I quickly got Christopher dressed into PJs so he's not sleeping in his normal day clothes because sometimes I was gonna be a little uncomfortable for him. I took him into bed and he falls right back asleep. I kiss him on the head and then I get myself ready for bed.

Chapter 5 complete! Finally done with the earthquake episode!

Oh Eddie met Christopher!! What do think will happen?? Is there something up between Eddie and his wife?
