Today's day, today is the day that's either gonna break me, or make me feel happy. The judge reviewed the case and I found out he talked to Christopher yesterday and found out everything they needed to know.

I really hope I win, I brought my dad and Carla with me. I didn't bring Hen, chimney or buck. I was almost going to, but I just wanted these two here with me.

"Everything will be ok" Carla says, Carla nervous about the whole custody. She doesn't know if the Diaz is win will they still want Carla to take care of Christopher? She's grown a good connection with my son and she doesn't want to stop taking care of him.

"I know, I'm just nervous" I say

"It's time" my dad says and we make our way into the courtroom. This is the first time Eddie is seeing me since the day I got the call, he tried texting me and calling me saying that he didn't know that she was planning on doing this and he was pissed at her for it. I ignored every text and every call!

(A/N: again, sorry if this is not how it goes in real life I'm kind of just doing it my way and how I wanted it to be. So in this book it's not 100% what would happen in the real world)

"Hello, today we are here for the custody, hearing to determine who will get custody of Christopher Nash Diaz!" The judge says, I wrote the judge an essay about what happened with me and Mr. Diaz relationship. Since it's a very long story, the judge told me to write an essay about it, and she will read it before the court case. It was about 4 pages long!

"Mrs. Diaz will you please present why you think you and your husband should get custody" the judge ask Shannon and she stands.

"I think me and Eddie should get custody because Eddie has been kept away from his son for the seven years of the child's life. Miss Nash just told Eddie a few weeks ago because she needed him for her son to get into a school that required both parent interview. She has given us the chance to see him whenever we want but we both want him in our life permanently. Wake up with him in the house every day, feed him breakfast and dinner every day. After me and Diaz got married, we found out I'm not able to have children. so this would mean to me we could get full custody of Christopher, thank you" she says and the judge nods

"Mrs Nash, who have you brought with you today and what is the relationship to Christopher?" The judge asks and  I stand.

"I brought my father, Robert Nash, who is Christopher grandpa and Carla who is Christopher's caregiver and takes care of him when I'm not around but she also helps me understand what's best for Christopher" I say and the judge nods

"Miss Nash, do you let Christopher see Mr. Diaz whenever he wants" the judge asks, and I nod

"Yes, Christopher asked me if he wants to see his father. I send Eddie a text right away asking if he can come over or if he wants to take Christopher out or if Eddie wants to come over to see Christopher I let him" I say and judge nods

"Have you ever spent time the three of you together after you told Christopher about his father" the judge asks, and I nod

"Yes, a few days ago, I went out to dinner, Eddie and Christopher" I say

"Do you feel like Christopher was happier around his father or around both of you" the judge asks

"I feel like he was more happier when it was the three of us at dinner. Christopher told me a few months ago when he asked about his father again. He mentioned you were to meet his father, he would want the three of us to be a family" I say and the judge nods

"Thank you, Mrs. Diaz, do you feel that Christopher is happy when it's just you and your husband with him" the judge asks, and she stands

"Yes, he seems very happy. He's already grown so close to both of us." She says and the judge nods

"Ok, we will come back in a few minutes, and I will have my decision" the judge says, and we all step out of the room for a few minutes

"I'm nervous, I think they did really well" I say

"Hey, you did perfect! you answered everything 100% correct" my dad says and I nod

"I know" I say. We wait about three minutes and then we get called back into the room. Breathe, Alyssa breathe! I sit back in my seat, and my father holds my hand because he can tell how nervous I am. I wish Athena was here also, I invited her to come, but she had an important meeting that she couldn't get out of, and she tried her best to get out of it. And if she tried anymore, she could lose her job and she said she would do that for family but I don't want her to. She loves her job!

"Ok, I have made my decision" The judge says I start panicking because I'm so nervous.

"My decision is full custody of Christopher will go to Mr. and Mrs. Diaz. And for Mrs. Nash, as a punishment for keeping Christopher from his father for those seven years of his life you are not allowed to see Christopher for a year and then after you can have visitations when Mr. and Mrs. Diaz approved. You are also not allowed to come in contact with Mrs. and Mr. Diaz about Christopher until the year is over. case closed" the says, and that's when I lose it and breakdown crying! I can't do this, how am I supposed to not see my son for a year and I see him every day. I look over at Eddie and I see a sad expression on his face. I can tell he doesn't approve any of this. But I look over at Shannon and I can see a smirk on her face. I hate that b*tch! This all happened because of her!
