If only

It's been a year and a few months since I left the 118! I haven't made contact with any of them, except my father. He's been giving me little updates about what's been going on and how everyone is. He's been giving me updates about Christopher and about how much Christopher misses me.

I found out a lot has happened, there was an incident with one of the engines and Buck got really hurt. I actually ended up visiting him in the hospital without anyone noticing and we kept it our little secret. I'm surprised no one noticed me because I was there to begin with because we had to send a patient to the hospital.

Yup I'm officially a paramedic, and a very good one! I've been a part of the 136 for a while! I went to the Academy to become a paramedic and I passed, and then I got put into the 136! They were almost gonna put me back into the 118 but I told them my situation, and they switched me to a different station that was in need of another paramedic.

So I started there and stuff started going really well! They're very different from the 118 but they're all very caring about each other. My captain is really nice, he reminds me of my dad a little bit. He treats everyone in the house like their family, and he feels like a father figure all of us. And I also made some friends along the way but one of them I would call my best friend. Lena Bosko, we feel like sisters! I work with her a lot at the 136. At first she might not seem like the nicest person but once she gets to know you and you get to know her, she's actually really nice.

One thing about this team that is similar to the 118 is they tend to hang out a lot after work hours. They go to restaurants together or bars just to hang out! The 118 also does that a lot!

I miss the 118, I plan on going back in a few months. I gave my captain heads up. I might be transferring back to my old station, and he understood. Even though I would miss the 136 so much since they feel like a family to me!

I miss my family I haven't seen or talk to anyone in over a year! I only talked to my dad and that's it. I haven't even seen anyone in over a year! Thankfully we haven't been together. I would see either the 118 or Athena. Since the 136 is closer to the pier and the 118 is more inland. The only way we would see them is if something happened towards the pier and they needed back up. that's the only time our stations would meet but it hasn't happened yet!

"So ready for another day" Lena says as I walk into the station

"Always" I say

"Morning Alyssa" Ronnie my captain says

"Morning Ronnie" I say

"When you're done and settled in the ambulance needs a little bit of tidying. The night shift did not clean it properly." He says and I nod

"Ofc they wouldn't after every time I tell them where stuff goes" I say annoyed! I like to keep the ambulance organized, and I end up putting a lot of stuff in the same places that they were before, but the Nightshift crew always messes it up and puts it in the wrong spot. No wonder they can't find stuff and then blame it on me, but Ronnie always has my back and tell them that they put it in the wrong spot. There's even a paper in the back that literally says where stuff goes and where you'll find it!

"I know it's so annoying" Michael says, Micheal is another paramedic! He's also dating Lena and they've been dating for two years now! Michael has taught me everything I know about being a paramedic. He's the reason why I'm such a good one. me and him are really well-known paramedics of the 136! And we actually come on top of the paramedic list for recommended paramedics for certain issues.

Like, for example if there is a call that regards traveling to a different area or state. They'll take the best of the best from certain stations. And I found out from Ronnie that we are at the top of the list for paramedics, we're also tied with hen and chimney! I do wonder how they're doing? I miss those two so much! Towards the end of my time at the 118 before I transferred, I started growing closer with those two and the three of us formed a friendship that can never be broken!
