The Guide to CIS Droids

The Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) was an organization of star systems who were displeased with the Republic. These included the Trade Federation, the Banking Clan, the Techno Union and several more, all gathered and lead by Count Dooku, or Lord Tyranus, a sith apprentice to Darth Sidious who conveyed orders to Count Dooku. Originally, they used battle droids for their own uses, but were then used to invade countless planets once they were part of the CIS. Battle droids were designed, which would then be manufactured on countless CIS planets, including Geonosis. Then, orders from Darth Sidious were sent for the Trade Federation to invade Naboo, which would spark a war most commonly known as the Clone Wars. The CIS were come to known as the Separatist Alliance, and many neutral planets were forced to choose a side in the war.

In this book, you will learn about those battle droids, as well as other droids produced by the CIS. Also, you will learn about droids independently used by the star systems of the Separatists. Canon Appearances will only include films and will be ordered by date of release.
