The Scorpenek Annihilator Droid-designed by the Colicoid Creation Nest-was equipped with two dual rapid-fire laser cannons, placed back in the form of a scorpion. It had four legs, one main red photoreceptor and one secondary red photoreceptor, and resembled the Droideka. It stood 3.5m (11ft 5.7in) tall, and also had a particle shield generator, similar to the Droideka's shield generator.
They were superior battle droids, and were capable of single handedly destroying clone squads and vehicles, but did not heavily influence the war, since they were expensive to produce, and fewer than 100 units ever existed. Because of this, they were sparingly used for strategic or political reasons.
